The world teaches us that a long life is built on three foundational pillars: healthy nutrition, exercising regularly, and maintaining mental health (emotional, psychological, and social well-being). Sleep is quickly on its way to becoming the 4th pillar as scientists research its significance. Billions are spent each year on fitness programs, diet trends, and self-care strategies—all in pursuit of looking good and longevity. But is this truly the foundation of a full life? Or is there something far more valuable?

While these things have value, a real question remains. Should we be more focused on bodily health or righteousness? Better yet, should we spend all our time concerned about this life or eternity with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH)? The Bible declares in Matthew 6:21, “For where your treasure (money) is, there your heart(H3820) will be also,” and our money is definitely in these three pillars. According to the Global Wellness Institute (GWI), Americans spent 308.71 billion on healthy food and weight loss products, 72.22 billion on fitness, and 107.91 billion on Mental Wellness in 2023.

Consider your priorities: What you value most will get the most of your money, time, and attention.

Consider your values: What you value and believe in will shape your actions.

Consider your actions: What you focus on dictates your actions.

The answer to the questions is simple. Both bodily health and righteousness should be prioritized, but one must take precedence. Sha’ul (Paul) clarifies this distinction for us in 1 Timothy 4:8: ‘bodily exercise is profitable to a little(G3641), but righteousness is profitable to all things, having promise of the present life now, and of that coming.’ The three pillars may strengthen our bodies and lives here and now. Still, only righteousness secures our present and eternal well-being.

I submit today that true longevity is not just about the number of years we live but about the life we cultivate in obedience to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH). In fact, true righteousness is the foundation that ultimately influences and enhances bodily health, unlike the other way around. Lastly, righteousness aligns the body, mind, and spirit with YAHUAH’s will, leading to true well-being. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha) proclaimed to “seek first the kingdom of YAHWEH and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

For it was neither herb nor poultice that healed them, but Your Word, O YAHUAH, which heals all things.

Wisdom of Solomon 16:12

Note: True healing comes from YAHUAH rather than just physical remedies.

In this and all Food for Thoughts I recommend you read the Scripture(s) provided and the entire chapter they are from to obtain more insight.

Healthy Food

We are what we eat—both physically and spiritually. What we consume, whether food or doctrine, shapes who we are. This isn’t just a cliché; it’s a fact.

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) gave His people clear instructions on what is food and what is not. Yet, many still defile their bodies with things He never intended to be consumed. The bodies of Yahshar’el and the grafted-in branches (Romans 11:17-19) are not their own; they were created by YAHUAH, redeemed by 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha), and are now the dwelling place of YAHUAH’s Ruach (Spirit). Polluting them with unclean animals, lab-engineered chemicals, and addictive substances is an offense against the One who made us.

The modern food industry thrives on deception, pushing toxic, addictive garbage while calling it food. Here’s a list of some of the most common poisons people willingly put into their bodies:

High-Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) – A cheap, artificial sugar that wreaks havoc on the liver and metabolism.

Food Dyes (Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1, etc.) – Petroleum-based toxins that interfere with the body’s natural balance and increase cravings.

Sodium Nitrite – A chemical preservative in processed meats, linked to cancer and heart disease.

Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) – A flavor-enhancing drug that tricks the brain into overeating.

Artificial Flavoring – A mix of lab-made chemicals designed to keep you addicted.

Trans Fats – Industrial waste oils that destroy the heart and arteries (finally banned, but damage already done).

Carrageenan – A thickening agent that inflames the gut and has been linked to cancer.

Refined Flour – Stripped of nutrients, spikes insulin, and leaves people constantly hungry and malnourished.

The solution? Stop eating their poison. Read labels, eat whole foods, and reject the processed filth they market as “healthy.” But here’s the truth most people don’t want to hear: What you eat matters, but it is not the most important thing.

Paul clarified that physical food is temporary, but righteousness lasts forever. 1 Timothy 4:6-8 again tells us that bodily discipline has some value, but righteousness holds the promise of both this life and the life to come. Paul commanded Timothy to devote himself to Torah study (1 Timothy 4:13) because true strength doesn’t come from food—it comes from the Word of YAHUAH.

Note: Paul, Timothy, the Bereans, etc., were reading and studying the Hebrew Scriptures (Torah and the Prophets). These writings were exclusively relied upon to understand and interpret the teachings of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha), seeing these writings as the key source of righteousness, wisdom, and truth.

Deuteronomy 8:3 drives the point home: “Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH).” It’s time to stop prioritizing the physical over the spiritual. People obsess over diets, meal plans, and exercise routines, yet they starve themselves of YAHUAH’s truth. The world teaches that health is found in food, fitness, and mental well-being, but YAHUAH teaches that life itself is found in His Word.

Your body is temporary. Your soul is eternal. What will it profit you in the end to have a gorgeous body, but lose your soul? Choose wisely.

Exercise vs Righteousness

Physical exercise has its benefits. It strengthens the body, improves endurance, and keeps us healthy. However, physical exercise has limitations—it benefits only the flesh, whereas righteousness benefits both body and soul. The discipline required for physical training is similar to the discipline necessary for spiritual growth. Just as one must train consistently to see results in the body, one must be diligent in the study and application of YAHUAH’s Word to grow in righteousness.

The Proverbs teach us to observe the ant, a creature of extraordinary diligence and discipline (Proverbs 6:6-8). If the ant, with its tiny stature, can be so industrious and persistent, how much more should we, who are called by YAHUAH’s name (Yahshar’el), be diligent in training ourselves in righteousness? Physical training has its place, but spiritual discipline is of greater worth.

Mental Health vs Righteousness

Mental health has become a significant focus in modern times, with many seeking peace and stability through various secular means. While it is essential to guard the mind, true mental and emotional well-being comes from YAHUAH’s Word. Isaiah 26:3 states, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”

The world encourages meditation, therapy, and mindfulness, but without the foundation of YAHUAH’s wisdom, these things are temporary fixes. The true renewal of the mind comes from Torah (Romans 12:2), and peace comes from obedience to YAHUAH’s instructions. Anxiety, fear, and depression are real struggles, but 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) has provided a way of escape through prayer, fasting, and immersion in His Word.

Conclusion

We are the righteousness of the Most High 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) (2 Corinthians 5:21) and must act as such. Physical health is beneficial, but it is temporary. What we eat, how we exercise, and how we care for our minds all matter, but they pale in comparison to the nourishment that comes from righteousness. Sha’ul reminds us that righteousness has eternal value—it impacts both this life and the one to come.

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.

Note: Righteousness brings healing and renewal to the body.

Proverbs 3:7-8

Who is the man who desires life and loves many days, that he may see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit. Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.

Note: Righteous living leads to longevity, not just physical practices.

High Jacking of the Faith and Bible

We have reached the end of this 8 part series with the final blow delivered by the Three-Part Strategy enacted throughout history by the Roman Catholic Church (RCC) and Protestant sects or denominations. As mentioned in the series, this strategy has been instrumental in shaping the course of history and influencing the religious beliefs and practices of millions worldwide. The final blow was changing the names of many, if not all, the people in the Bible, thus removing and downplaying the significance of the people’s personal, social, and spiritual identity, heritage, and uniqueness.

The practice of changing names, among other things discussed in this series, has significantly contributed to why many people from the second century until today have no interest in understanding the historical context, heritage, or cultural nuances of the actual people depicted in the Bible. The clergy and the powers that be in the second century and still today want nothing to do with:

The Old Testament except for Tithes $$$

The Yahudim (Jews), not the Jewish or Jewish converts of today

The Pharisees like Sha’ul (Saul or Paul), whose words they twist (Acts 23:6, 2 Peter 3:15-16)

The Sadducees

The Followers of The Way (Acts 24:14)

The Nazarenes, whom Sha’ul was accused of leading (Acts 24:5).

It is important to note that Followers of The Way and Nazarenes were people who followed the commands of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and believed in Yahusha, which would have included all the disciples of Yahusha the Nazarite (Revelation 12:17, 14:12). Unfortunately, the lack of interest in the people and the Old Testament has caused confusion and led many astray.

A Chosen People

Yahshar’elites were and still are the chosen people who 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 used to teach people His ways, precepts, and commands (Deuteronomy 4:5-8). Not only that, but through these people’s interaction with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 from the Old and New Testaments, particularly the Old, we learned the characteristics and ways of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. However, you lose the person’s identity when you change the things this series has pointed out, especially the names.

Consider how a simple name change can convey so much about a person’s identity, culture, and background. Think about how your perspective, perception, and bias would change if I altered the names in a story. Imagine if I were to tell you a story about John and Peter, two individuals with Western names. You might immediately form a mental image of them as white, English-speaking, and possibly Christian. But what if I were to tell you a story about Muhammad and Ahmed, or Li Chang and Chen Xiang, or Yochanan, Kefa, and Yehudah? Suddenly, your mental image of the characters changes, and you might picture them as individuals from different parts of the world with different religious beliefs and distinct cultural practices. What about La’Kisha and Bonquisha, two African American girls, right? What else does your mind tell you about them? The names of the people in a story can play a crucial role in shaping our understanding of who they are and how we perceive them.

Names Were Removed and Replaced

The names of the people keep you in constant connection with their culture. Through the Three-Part Strategy coupled with Hellenization and the Renaissance period the Hebrew names were removed and replaced with not-so-great Greek and Latin transliteration and translation. This was possibly done so that Europeans, whether pagan or not, would feel more comfortable accepting the faith as their own. History tells us it was successful as the Europeans started naming their children after the transliterated names of heroes in the Bible. This fit into their own culture, which is known as inculturation (1 Maccabees 3:48). The RCC and the Protestant Reformation pushed this further by continuing the spread of this religious propaganda. This is also continued today around the world by the same groups. Christians don’t go around the world to foreign countries transliterating names into the language of that foreign country; they teach the false name Jesus instead of teaching Yahshua, Yahusha, or Yeshua. Biblical names should have never been transliterated but learned and taught.

Both the names of the Father and the Son have been changed in the Bible and reduced by man. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 The Father’s name was changed to G.O.D and L.O.R.D which are the names and titles of false idols. Yahusha/Yahshua The Son’s name was changed to Jesus.
Conclusion

We have reached the final part of this series, yet so much has been left unsaid. The study of the Bible and its connection to and effects on the past, present, and future is a lifelong pursuit. I recommend that you pursue the knowledge that the Ruak HaKodesh leads.

We are not the most educated. We are the most indoctrinated or brainwashed people. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 tells us over and over that we are a set-apart people who should not conform to this world. He tells us over and over to come out of her (the world) MY people. You should have learned through this series that we have been conditioned to accept the culture, ways, precepts, and laws of our enemy s.a.t.a.n, but it does not have to be this way. We must be like Dani’el, ChananYAH, Mish’el, and AzarYAH and defy the enemy’s pull to submit and conform to this world. Dani’el stood his ground and got thrown into the lion’s den for it (Daniel 6). ChananYAH, Mish’el, and AzarYAH also stood their ground and were cast into a furnace for it (Daniel 3:8-25). Those 3 Hebrew men and Daniel stood their ground according to the ways, precepts, and commands of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, and they all came out faithful and alive. Out of many, these men stood for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄; where were the other Yahshar’elites? Were they possibly bowing down to the false idols presented to them by the culture? It’s time to WAKE UP Yahshar’el and grafted in branches, WAKE UP and BE NOT conformed to this world and stand for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄!

We will discuss the idea or belief that everything is clean to eat as long as you pray over it. If you haven’t already had the opportunity to read through the previous parts, I highly recommend that you do. This will help you better understand the context and progression of the topics discussed.

In this and all Food for Thoughts I recommend you read the Scripture(s) provided and the entire chapter they are from to obtain more insight.

1 Timothy 4:1-5 is frequently misinterpreted due to a lack of understanding of the social and cultural influences of the times. Many during this time were preaching vegetarianism and veganism for holiness to avoid eating meat sacrifices to false idols and deities (Acts 15:28-29). The normalcy of animal sacrifice to false idols and deities among Gentiles was so great that they had tons of meat left over, and it was sold in the markets. Many believers turned vegan because of the meat being sold openly in the markets versus taking the pray over it and eat route. The issue is that teaching vegetarianism and veganism is not found in Torah. Thus, it is not biblically sound, even though many of that day and people of today argue that veganism was the original plan of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 which might be correct; however, again, the Bible does not explicitly teach this. Though Adam and Eve were originally given plants to eat, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 never forbid them from eating meat, but later on, after their fall, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 allowed them to eat of meat and provided instructions with it.

Disregarding the biblical context that scripturally sanctified clean animals of Leviticus 11, fruits and vegetables are what was considered food, and unclean meats were not considered food, can also cause the true meaning of the verses to be lost or distorted. It’s important to take into account the historical background of the Old Testament and the New Testament up to this point, as well as cultural nuances, to properly understand the message being conveyed.

A Closer Look at the Scriptures

A closer look at Verses 1-5 with a biblical and cultural understanding that the food being referred to is clean meat or food that has been sanctified through the Word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (Leviticus 11). Also with an understanding of the push to be vegan.

Verse 1 – Paul is warning Timothy of a future time, possibly our time now or in the end time, when some will leave the truth. Not only will they leave the truth, but they will also leave the teaching of Torah, follow deceiving spirits, and learn the doctrines of demons. (Hebrews 6:4-6, 2 Peter 2:21, Romans 1:28-32)

Verse 2 – These same individuals will become counterfeiters like Satan and disguise themselves and mislead people by speaking lies and teaching doctrines of demons (2 Corinthians 11:14).

Verse 3 – They will try to persuade people to abstain from foods that Elohim created for partaking or sanctioned as clean to eat. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 did not create all meats to be received for eating. Culturally speaking, these people did not consider any unclean meat as food, just like we here in America don’t consider dogs, cats, horses, or rats to be food. Look at the translations below; they all say food which 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 created to be received, partaken of, or eaten. The Scripture is NOT sanctioning the consumption of unclean animals that were not created to be received, partaken of, or eaten that would violate the Torah and the Word of YAH.

ESV: “abstinence from foods that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.”

Verse 4 and 5 – Paul concludes this matter by explaining that all things created by 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 are good and nothing should be rejected IF it is received with thanks-giving and is sanctified through the Word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. So this is very true: all things created by YAH are good. However, all things are not to be received or, in the context of these scriptures, eaten unless it is received with thanksgiving and sanctified (set apart) or authorized by Scripture (Leviticus 11). So, Paul is speaking about clean kosher foods laid out in Scriptures. Pork, crabs, shrimp, etc., are not sanctified through the Word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, but are unclean animals that are restricted from eating throughout the Bible. From the time of Genesis 7:2 to Levetitcus 11 and Deuteronomy 14 to Matthew 5:17 to Act 10:14 to our present day and the future Isaiah 65:4. We serve an El that said He does not change and can not lie, so does He change and is He a liar?

Conclusion

1 Timothy 4:1-5 is not at all encouraging believers to eat unclean foods or meats by offering a prayer of thanksgiving for it to clean the food and make it acceptable. That would be like offering a prayer of thanksgiving over adulterous activities with the expectation that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is going to bless it; only a marriage between one man and one woman is sanctified through the Scripture and is what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 will bless. Paul is telling Timothy that clean meat sanctified through the scripture can be received with thanksgiving. He was also cautioning against those teaching doctrines of demons, persuading man to do things against the Torah and follow in the ways of man’s doctrines. What is most interesting is that the most recognized unclean animal worldwide in multiple religions is the pig (swine). However, it is the most eaten animal in the world. Satan has been busy teaching anti-Torah things and getting men to accept the doctrines and teach them to others. Whether you are Yahshar’el or grafted in branches, we are Qodesh, to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and should only be eating Qodesh food.

In the last Food for Though Part 5, we discovered that Kefa (Peter) and the other disciples received clarification from Yahshua regarding the parable of what defiles a person. We learned from Mark 7:1-23 and Matthew 15:1-20 that Yahshua was teaching two things. First, Yahshua pointed out the hypocrisy of man, teaching their doctrines and commandments while ignoring the commands of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. Secondly, Yahshua explained that “UNWASHED HANDS DOES NOT DEFILE THE MAN,” but what comes out of a man’s heart and mouth does. Nothing in these scriptures remotely implies that Yahshua was talking about eating clean or unclean food and, definitely nothing about Yahshua annulling the commands and laws of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (Matthew 5:17). This week we will discuss Kefa’s (Peter’s) vision.

9. And the next day, as they passed along on the road, and drawing near to the city, Kefa (Simon Peter) went up on the roof to pray about the sixth hour.

10. And he hungered and desired to eat. And while they prepared for him, a stupor fell over him.

11. And he saw the heaven being opened and a certain vessel like a great sheet coming down on him, being bound by four corners, and let down onto the earth;

Did 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 tell a Hungry Kefa (Peter) to Eat Unclean Animals?

The simple answer is NO, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 did not instruct Kefa (Peter) to consume unclean meat. However, since 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 used both clean and unclean animals as a metaphor for Kefa to understand 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄’s plan for the gentiles, some have misinterpreted these scriptures and made it about food. Regrettably, these individuals have taken their misinterpretations of these scriptures and have taught the false doctrine that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 changed the dietary laws. To clear up the delusions and debunk these untruths, we must be like the Bereans and study the scripture for understanding and clarification.

The Vision

In a vision 10 to 12 years after Yahshua’s death and resurrection and the start of the New Covenant. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 showed Kefa (Peter) a sheet that contained “ALL the four-footed animals of the earth, and the wild beasts, and the creeping things, and the birds of the heaven.” In this vision, a voice came to him saying, “Rise up, Peter, slay and eat.” It’s important to note that “ALL” includes clean and unclean animals. This vision, or at least the voice part, was repeated three times. The repetition of the vision raises the question of its significance and what message or meaning is being communicated. What did Kefa do during the vision, and what was his reaction after the vision? These are questions that might provide insight into the nature and purpose of the vision.

Scenarios

A hungry Kefa (Peter) could have quickly eaten the clean and unclean animals and ended the vision, concluding that all meats were now clean.

Kefa could have treated this vision like an all-you-can-eat buffet in which you choose what you want. Partaking of permissible foods such as chicken, lamb, and salmon while avoiding pork, crabs, and oysters, which were considered unclean, thus adhering to the dietary laws, ending the vision concluding what he already knew that the dietary law remains.

A hungry Kefa could have gone out after the vision and eaten what he wanted, disregarding the dietary law.

Kefa’s Reaction to the Vision

Kefa did none of the above. During the vision, he answered the voice in the saying, “Elohim forbid my Master, because I never did eat anything common or unclean.” This statement is most profound. Kefa boldly and confidently confirms that the dietary law is still valid and that he follows the commands of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. Again, remember that this is 10-12 years after the death of Yahshua.

The vision left Kefa confused and full of self-doubt as he wrestled with its meaning in his mind for understanding. He knew it wasn’t 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 telling him to eat unclean animals. He also knew 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 wasn’t telling him to choose clean animals over unclean when offered because he already knew the dietary law. The meaning of the vision was in Kefa’s answer back to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and his use of the word common. Not only did he assert that he had never consumed any unclean meat as per Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14, but he also stated that he never ate anything “common,” which is not in Leviticus or Deuteronomy.

The vision was tailor-made for Kefa to challenge his belief that only Yahshar’elites could receive salvation, not Gentiles. Also, it was to help him understand and overcome the cultural and religious biases engrained in him by the oral laws of the Pharisees. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 knew how Kefa (Peter), a Yahshar’elite and follower of Yahshua HaMashiach, would react and respond to this vision. It was through this vision that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 showed Kefa that no person is common or unclean in His sight and that the good news of YAHSHUA is for all people, regardless of their background or ethnicity.

Note about first-century Pharisees:

“In the first century, the Pharisees of Yahshua’s time followed something called the oral law. This was a manmade code of rules with thousands of extra added laws about the Sabbath and Torah that still even exits to this day. One of these laws is that a Jew cannot even sit at the same table with a non-Jew, and if a non-Jew would eat from a cup or plate of the Jew, the religious Jewish person would actually have to break the plate, because it became common, because it was used by a non-Jew. The word ‘common’ means used by all, or not set apart or sanctified any longer. In the first century a religious Jew would not even use olive oil if it was even pressed by a Gentile. And this is the whole reason for the dream given by 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, as now salvation was going to be open to the Gentile race and due to Jewish culture and rabbinical teaching they could not meet with and eat with Jewish disciples in Messiah. Look at the following scripture to prove this point.”

Elder Don Esposito

And as Peter was doubting within himself what the vision which he saw might be, even behold, the men who had been sent from Cornelius stood on the porch asking about the house of Simon.

And calling out, they inquired if Simon being surnamed Peter is lodged here.

And as Peter pondered concerning the vision, the Spirit said to him, Behold, three men are seeking you.

But rising up, go down and go with them, not discriminating, because I have sent them.

And going down to the men, the ones sent from Cornelius to him, Peter said, Behold, I am the one whom you seek. What is the cause for which you are here?

And they said, Cornelius, a centurion, a just man and one fearing 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, and being testified to by all the nation of the Jews, was divinely warned by a holy cherub to call you to his house and to hear words from you.

Then calling them in, he lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went out with them. And some of the brothers from Joppa accompanied him.

And on the morrow they entered Caesarea. And Cornelius was awaiting them, having called together his relatives and the beloved friends that he had.

And as Peter was coming in, meeting him, Cornelius fell at his feet and worshiped.

But Kefa (Peter) lifted him up, saying, Stand up! I myself am also a man.

And talking with him, he went in and found many having come together.

You know that it is not lawful for a Yehudean man to associate with or come near to a foreign man who is not a son of his tribe†, but 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 showed to me concerning a man not to say that he is common or unclean.

Because of this I came promptly when you sent for me, but I ask you for what reason did you send for me?

Acts 10:17-29 (HRB)

Shortly after the Vision, Kefa started to realize its meaning as Cornelius’ men, probably gentiles, stood at his door after being guided to him by 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, telling him not to discriminate, doubt, or hesitate. We can see the fullness of the meaning of the vision once Kefa goes with the men and meets Cornelius. Acts 10:28 states Kefa’s understanding. “You know that it is not lawful for a Yahudean man to associate with or come near to a foreign man who is not a son of his tribe, but 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 showed to me concerning a man not to say that he is common or unclean.“

Conclusion

It is important to note that the purpose of the vision was not to make unclean animals fit for human consumption. But, to pave the way for the understanding that Gentiles could be offered salvation and be grafted in (Romans 11:17). If 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 did not give Kefa (Peter), this vision showing him that Gentiles were equally able to receive salvation like the Yahshar’elites, then Kefa would not even have sat down with Cornelius let alone offer baptism to him and others (Please read Acts 10 in full). This vision also set the stage for the events that followed for Gentiles, like the Jerusalem Council in Acts 15 and Paul’s acceptance by the Apostles in Galatians 2. So you can clearly see that the purpose of the vision was for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 to show Him not to call people common or unclean, and had nothing to do with consuming unclean animals.

Unfortunately, Christianity (Roman Catholicism) and Rome did not stop at the reeducation of the masses, as we learned in part 3. They continued by rebranding Scriptures and laws into their own likeness for their own benefit and the appeasement of pagans. Our topic for part 4, “Changing Dietary Instructions,” is also part of the rebranding of these lawless people. This topic is extensive and covers various areas, so I will divide it into multiple “Food For Thoughts” to make it more comprehensible. Doing so allows us to delve deeper into each aspect and ensure that nothing important is left out.

If you haven’t already had the opportunity to read through the previous parts of this “Food For Thought” series. I highly recommend that you do so before proceeding with this portion. This will help you better understand the context and progression of the topics discussed. Below are the links to parts 1-3 and another link to other significant “Food For Thoughts” related to names and changes done to the faith. To save time, I will dive directly into the topic of Changing Dietary Instructions and provide insights into the impact of these changes and how they have affected various aspects of our lives.

Diet

It should be the absolute understanding of all mankind that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, the creator and owner of everything in existence, has the absolute right to dictate what His creations can and cannot do, including what they can consume as food. After all, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 created every plant and animal clean and unclean and gave it its purpose. The Bible provides clear instructions for food consumption, emphasizing specific dietary restrictions.

However, some religious beliefs, such as Catholicism and Christianity, allow and often promote people to consume anything they want as long as they pray over it or bless it beforehand. The world governments (Beast System) have also granted permission and promoted consuming things that the Bible designates as unclean and not food, like pigs, shrimp, crabs, rats, catfish, rabbits, squids, and other questionable things.

Interpretations of the restriction on consuming Biblically unclean animal flesh have varied throughout history due to diverse religious beliefs, cultural traditions, and a void of Biblical truth. The Bible provides a thorough guide to what mankind should eat and what we should avoid to maintain good health and spiritual purity. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 provided these guidelines so His creations would lead a healthy and fulfilling physical and spiritual life through obedience.

Genesis 1:29-30, 2:9, 2:16-17: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 original plan was for all humankind and animals to be plant eaters (vegetarians, vegans, and herbivores). However, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 restricted the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, commanding Adam not to eat of it.

Genesis 3:21: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 sacrificed the first animal to provide clothing for Adam and Eve after they disobeyed Him and became aware of their nakedness. Yet, even then, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 did not grant humans the freedom or permission to consume the flesh of the animals He created.

The flood wiped out most of the Earth’s vegetation, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 permitted mankind to eat the flesh of animals. The question is, what animals, the clean or unclean ones? Noah brought seven pairs of each clean animal and only one pair of each unclean animal. It’s clear from Noah’s righteousness and the limited number of unclean animals that he and his family consumed the clean animals. By doing so, he ensured the survival of the unclean animals, preventing them from going extinct. Additionally, Noah knew which animals were meant for food since 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 had differentiated between the clean and unclean animals. This knowledge helped him to understand that unclean animals were not meant for food. Leviticus 11 further explains that unclean animals were detestable and unfit for human consumption and, therefore, inedible. It is also important to note that in Genesis 8:20, you don’t see Noah offering any unclean animals to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 as a burnt offering.

Does the New Testament Annul the Dietary Laws of Lev 11 and Deut 14

Before delving into the scriptures we are about to cover, it is essential to ask 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 to open your mind to the understanding of the Scriptures (Luke 24:45). You should also take care to keep the scriptures in context (Isaiah 28:9-10) and be willing to research other books of the Bible (2 Peter 1:20) to gain a comprehensive understanding. Ok let’s begin with the words of Yahshua in Matthew 5:17-19

17. Do not think that I (Yahshua) came to annul the Torah or the Prophets; I did not come to annul, but to fulfill.

18. Truly I say to you, Until the Heaven and the Earth pass away, in no way shall one yod or one stroke pass away from the Torah until all comes to pass.

19. Therefore, whoever loosens one of these commandments, the least, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the worst in the kingdom of Heaven. But whoever does and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven

In this and all Food for Thoughts I recommend you read the Scripture(s) provided and the entire chapter they are from to obtain more insight.

We can see that Yahshua did not change or annul the law of His Father 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 or the words of the Prophets. Directly from the very mouth of Yahshua, it was clearly stated that not one law of the original Torah, which includes the dietary law, would be abolished. Not one yod or one stroke would be changed until Heaven and Earth pass away. He followed that with a warning to anyone who loosens one of the commandments just a little or teaches men so. That commandment breaker will be called the least or worst in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Would it make sense for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 to create an everlasting covenant, which is the Torah, and then annul it (do away with), leaving a “just believe” loophole for those who don’t want to follow His commands, laws, and precepts? Would it make sense for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 to hold His chosen people to the Torah and then punish them with Deuteronomy 28 for not following it, to later do away with it for them and everyone else, and then come back in the end times, punish the Earth and its people for not following the Torah, and then start teaching it again from the holy mountain? The answer to both is NO, it does not make sense.

Then, why is there a widespread belief among Christianity and many others that not only have the dietary laws that are a part of the Torah done away with but that Yahshua Himself was the one who did away with them, along with Kefa (Peter) and Shaul (Paul)? It is because of blatant misinterpretation of the Scriptures in Mark, Matthew, Acts, Timothy, 1 Corinthians, and Romans. In some ways, these Scriptures have also been erroneously translated in the King James Version (KJV) and other Bibles. In reality, the dietary laws have not been abolished and remain an integral part of the Torah. If Yahshua annulled or abolished it, He would be in violation of His own words: “I DID NOT COME TO ANNUL.”

Conclusion

Next week, YAH willing, we will continue the “Changing Dietary Instructions” portion and investigate some of the misunderstandings, mistranslations, and misinterpretations of Scriptures relating to dietary law.

When you think of a buffet, you might envision various culinary delights such as steak, ribs, seafood, chicken, brussels sprouts, liver, chickpeas, and endless desserts. Wait! WHAT? Brussels sprouts, liver, and chickpeas? Yes, there may also be options that may not appeal to you. Nonetheless, the beauty of a buffet lies in the freedom of partiality to pick and choose what you desire. Plus, if you try something new that doesn’t suit your taste, you can simply move on to other options. Isn’t that great?

Unfortunately, many believers and non-believers tend to treat the Word of YAHWEH like a buffet. Selectively picking or choosing what they wish to believe, eating what they want or what their doctrine (diet) allows while keeping the rest of the Bible pushed off to the side or off the plate altogether. However, it must be emphasized that the Bible is not a collection of optional items to choose from based on personal preferences. Neither is it a smorgasbord of our likes and dislikes. It is a comprehensive guidebook for living a righteous life in accordance with the Father’s will. We should not ignore or overlook parts of the Bible, like vegetables we don’t want to eat, nor should we refuse to read the Bible like we reject certain foods. Yahshua and His Brother James demonstrated understanding, knowledge, and wisdom in this matter, which we shall examine in depth.

Yahshua and the Word of YAHWEH

Before starting His ministry on earth, Yahshua was tempted by the Devil, as recorded in Matthew 4:1-11, Mark 1:13, Luke 4:1–13. Yahshua was fasting for 40 days and feeling tired and hungry. The Devil came along and tempted Yahshua three times. Yahshua fought all three temptations with the Sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of YAHWEH (Ephesians 6:17, Hebrews 4:12). Interestingly, Yahshua first quoted Deuteronomy 8:3 to Satan in the first temptation “Man shall not live by bread alone, but man shall live by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of YAHWEH.” These events teach us two important lessons: how to resist temptation using YAHWEH’s Word and, more importantly, the significance of the Word of YAHWEH.

In using Bible Scripture, Yahshua confirms that the written Scripture in the Bible is, in fact, the Word of YAHWEH. Paul also confirmed in 2 Timothy 3:16 that all scriptures in the Bible are from YAHWEH or YAHWEH Breathed. It is important to note that when Paul was writing his letters to Timothy and the rest of his epistles, the only thing considered Scripture was the Torah (Old Testament) and the writing of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, as Paul does quote Luke 10:7 in 1 Timothy 5:18. However, the Apostel Peter does later accept the writings of Paul as Scripture as indicated in 2 Peter 3:15-16. Nevertheless, the conclusion remains, we can not and must not be Cherry-pickers of the Word of YAHWEH, but accept every word wholeheartedly and live by them, Old and New Testament.

James and the Word of YAHWEH

James, the brother of Yahshua, explains in James 2:1-13 that believers are not to exhibit partiality when dealing with people or Scripture. Specifically, verses 2-9 warn us against the danger of using partiality to include or exclude individuals based on their wealth, social status, ethnicity, nationality, or culture. Instead, we are called as believers to walk in love and recognize that YAHWEH sent His Son to die for ALL, offering salvation to everyone, regardless of their status in life. We don’t have the authority to select who receives salvation or determine if a person is worthy of salvation. (See To Sin or Not to Sin, that is the question! PT.1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 as well as True Repentance).

Jonah, a prophet of YAHWEH, initially struggled with partiality and the idea of preaching to the people of Nineveh, whom he deemed unworthy of YAHWEH’s grace. However, after spending time in the belly of a fish and suffering a heat stroke, Jonah came to understand that YAHWEH’s salvation is available to ALL who turn towards Him, regardless of their past actions or beliefs. Read the entire book of Jonah for the details. Throughout the Bible, YAHWEH provides examples of Himself not being a respecter of person Romans 2:11-16 *11, Acts 10:25-37 *34, Proverbs 28:21. As believers, we should follow these examples and avoid showing partiality, being racist, or prejudiced, as this is considered a sin according to verse 9.

Though showing partiality toward people was not the point of this Food for Thought, it was necessary to mention it so that we could stay in the context of James 2:1-13. In Verses 10-13, James highlights another partiality that people have, selective obedience or cherry-picking what commands of YAHWEH should be obeyed and which can be disregarded. This behavior is reckless and must be avoided at all costs to keep from a distorted understanding and the Lake of Fire.

You can’t say, “I like YAHWEH’s commands against stealing and murdering, so I’ll keep those. However, I don’t like or agree with His command against adultery or needing to keep the 7th-day sabbath, so I will ignore those”. This sort of cherry-picking was prevalent then and has exploded in our modern-day culture. We must live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of YAHWEH, for He values His whole law and His words, and we should as well.

Conclusion

We all need a fully balanced meal. Eating kale, brussels sprouts, and some mushrooms may be challenging, but they are good for our bodies and longevity. Just the same is the word of YAHWEH. We don’t get to pick and choose what fits into our lives from the Bible. We are here to follow the will of YAHWEH as it’s laid out in His Word, not edit out the parts that don’t fit into our little worlds or the things we deem too difficult. Yahshua told us in Matthew 16:24 that we would be required to deny ourselves in order to follow him.

Note: You must put the Word of YAHWEH before your doctrine. #bibleoverdoctrine
