The world teaches us that a long life is built on three foundational pillars: healthy nutrition, exercising regularly, and maintaining mental health (emotional, psychological, and social well-being). Sleep is quickly on its way to becoming the 4th pillar as scientists research its significance. Billions are spent each year on fitness programs, diet trends, and self-care strategies—all in pursuit of looking good and longevity. But is this truly the foundation of a full life? Or is there something far more valuable?

While these things have value, a real question remains. Should we be more focused on bodily health or righteousness? Better yet, should we spend all our time concerned about this life or eternity with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH)? The Bible declares in Matthew 6:21, “For where your treasure (money) is, there your heart(H3820) will be also,” and our money is definitely in these three pillars. According to the Global Wellness Institute (GWI), Americans spent 308.71 billion on healthy food and weight loss products, 72.22 billion on fitness, and 107.91 billion on Mental Wellness in 2023.

• Consider your priorities: What you value most will get the most of your money, time, and attention. 
• Consider your values: What you value and believe in will shape your actions. 
• Consider your actions: What you focus on dictates your actions. 

The answer to the questions is simple. Both bodily health and righteousness should be prioritized, but one must take precedence. Sha’ul (Paul) clarifies this distinction for us in 1 Timothy 4:8: ‘bodily exercise is profitable to a little(G3641), but righteousness is profitable to all things, having promise of the present life now, and of that coming.’ The three pillars may strengthen our bodies and lives here and now. Still, only righteousness secures our present and eternal well-being.

I submit today that true longevity is not just about the number of years we live but about the life we cultivate in obedience to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH). In fact, true righteousness is the foundation that ultimately influences and enhances bodily health, unlike the other way around. Lastly, righteousness aligns the body, mind, and spirit with YAHUAH’s will, leading to true well-being. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha) proclaimed to “seek first the kingdom of YAHWEH and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

For it was neither herb nor poultice that healed them, but Your Word, O YAHUAH, which heals all things.

Healthy Food

We are what we eat—both physically and spiritually. What we consume, whether food or doctrine, shapes who we are. This isn’t just a cliché; it’s a fact.

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) gave His people clear instructions on what is food and what is not. Yet, many still defile their bodies with things He never intended to be consumed. The bodies of Yahshar’el and the grafted-in branches (Romans 11:17-19) are not their own; they were created by YAHUAH, redeemed by 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha), and are now the dwelling place of YAHUAH’s Ruach (Spirit). Polluting them with unclean animals, lab-engineered chemicals, and addictive substances is an offense against the One who made us.

The modern food industry thrives on deception, pushing toxic, addictive garbage while calling it food. Here’s a list of some of the most common poisons people willingly put into their bodies:

• High-Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) – A cheap, artificial sugar that wreaks havoc on the liver and metabolism.
• Food Dyes (Red 40, Yellow 5, Blue 1, etc.) – Petroleum-based toxins that interfere with the body’s natural balance and increase cravings.
• Sodium Nitrite – A chemical preservative in processed meats, linked to cancer and heart disease.
• Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) – A flavor-enhancing drug that tricks the brain into overeating.
• Artificial Flavoring – A mix of lab-made chemicals designed to keep you addicted.
• Trans Fats – Industrial waste oils that destroy the heart and arteries (finally banned, but damage already done).
• Carrageenan – A thickening agent that inflames the gut and has been linked to cancer.
• Refined Flour – Stripped of nutrients, spikes insulin, and leaves people constantly hungry and malnourished.

The solution? Stop eating their poison. Read labels, eat whole foods, and reject the processed filth they market as “healthy.” But here’s the truth most people don’t want to hear: What you eat matters, but it is not the most important thing.

Paul clarified that physical food is temporary, but righteousness lasts forever. 1 Timothy 4:6-8 again tells us that bodily discipline has some value, but righteousness holds the promise of both this life and the life to come. Paul commanded Timothy to devote himself to Torah study (1 Timothy 4:13) because true strength doesn’t come from food—it comes from the Word of YAHUAH.

Note: Paul, Timothy, the Bereans, etc., were reading and studying the Hebrew Scriptures (Torah and the Prophets). These writings were exclusively relied upon to understand and interpret the teachings of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha), seeing these writings as the key source of righteousness, wisdom, and truth.

Deuteronomy 8:3 drives the point home: “Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH).” It’s time to stop prioritizing the physical over the spiritual. People obsess over diets, meal plans, and exercise routines, yet they starve themselves of YAHUAH’s truth. The world teaches that health is found in food, fitness, and mental well-being, but YAHUAH teaches that life itself is found in His Word.

Your body is temporary. Your soul is eternal. What will it profit you in the end to have a gorgeous body, but lose your soul? Choose wisely.

Exercise vs Righteousness

Physical exercise has its benefits. It strengthens the body, improves endurance, and keeps us healthy. However, physical exercise has limitations—it benefits only the flesh, whereas righteousness benefits both body and soul. The discipline required for physical training is similar to the discipline necessary for spiritual growth. Just as one must train consistently to see results in the body, one must be diligent in the study and application of YAHUAH’s Word to grow in righteousness.

The Proverbs teach us to observe the ant, a creature of extraordinary diligence and discipline (Proverbs 6:6-8). If the ant, with its tiny stature, can be so industrious and persistent, how much more should we, who are called by YAHUAH’s name (Yahshar’el), be diligent in training ourselves in righteousness? Physical training has its place, but spiritual discipline is of greater worth.

Mental Health vs Righteousness

Mental health has become a significant focus in modern times, with many seeking peace and stability through various secular means. While it is essential to guard the mind, true mental and emotional well-being comes from YAHUAH’s Word. Isaiah 26:3 states, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”

The world encourages meditation, therapy, and mindfulness, but without the foundation of YAHUAH’s wisdom, these things are temporary fixes. The true renewal of the mind comes from Torah (Romans 12:2), and peace comes from obedience to YAHUAH’s instructions. Anxiety, fear, and depression are real struggles, but 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) has provided a way of escape through prayer, fasting, and immersion in His Word.

Conclusion

We are the righteousness of the Most High 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) (2 Corinthians 5:21) and must act as such. Physical health is beneficial, but it is temporary. What we eat, how we exercise, and how we care for our minds all matter, but they pale in comparison to the nourishment that comes from righteousness. Sha’ul reminds us that righteousness has eternal value—it impacts both this life and the one to come.

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshment to your bones.

The Last Great Day

To fully understand the significance of The Last Great Day, it’s essential to first recognize the appointed times (Feast Days) given by 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH), each of which reveals His redemptive plan. These Feasts, fulfilled in part by 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha’s) first coming and awaiting completion at His return, point to the ultimate fulfillment of His will for the world. Let’s first quickly review and look at these Feast Days and their prophetic meaning.

Feast Days Recap

Spring Feasts – Fulfilled in Part by Yahusha’s First Coming

• Passover (Pesach) – 14th day of the first month (Aviv) – Fulfilled
  • Commemorates YAHUAH’s deliverance of Yahshar’el from Egypt and foreshadows 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha) as the Passover Lamb (Exodus 12, Leviticus 23:5)

From Yahusha’s death as the Passover Lamb through to the giving of the Ruach Ha’Qodesh on Shavuot are vital parts of YAHUAH’s plan, but there is much more to be revealed and fulfilled. The fall feasts, including the Feast of Trumpets, the Day of Atonement, and the Feast of Tabernacles, point to Yahusha’s return, the final judgment, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) dwelling with His people forever. All of this is concluded with The Last Great Day as the grand finale of YAHUAH’s appointed times, a day that signifies both completion and the promise of something new.

• Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) – 1st day of the seventh month (Ethanim)
  • A day of blowing trumpets, calling for repentance, and warning of judgment (Leviticus 23:23-25).
  • To be fulfilled in Yahusha’s return as King, as trumpets signal His coming (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Matthew 24:31). This Feast marks a time of awakening, restoration of Yahshar’el, repentance, and preparation for final judgment.
• Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) – 10th day of the seventh month
  • The holiest day of the year, a time of fasting and repentance, foreshadowing final atonement and judgment (Leviticus 23:26-32)
  • Points to the final judgment and national atonement for Yahshar’el (Zechariah 12:10, Romans 11:26-27). This will be fulfilled when 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha) returns, and Yahshar’el as a nation repents and is restored.
• Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) – 15th-22nd of the seventh month
  • Seven days of dwelling in booths to remember Yahshar’el’s journey in the wilderness
  • Points to the coming Kingdom of YAHUAH, when God will dwell with His people, and the living water of the Spirit will flow freely to all who believe.

The Seven Feast Days and The Last Great Day

The seven appointed Feast Days of YAHUAH outline His plan for redemption and restoration. Each Feast has been partially fulfilled, with some awaiting their final completion. These Feasts serve as prophetic shadows, pointing to things to come, with multiple layers of fulfillment. While the enemy, Satan, seeks to distort and replace YAHUAH’s timeline with confusion, YAHUAH’s appointed times remain clear to those who seek the truth.

YAHUAH’s Feast Days are more than just ancient observances—they are His appointed times, revealing His redemptive plan from beginning to eternity. Each Feast tells the history of Yahshar’el, foreshadows future events, and points to salvation through Yahusha. Sadly, many have disregarded these divine appointments, replacing them with man-made traditions that lack prophetic insight. This is why many are confused about end-time prophecy: they overlook the very calendar YAHUAH established to guide His people.

The seven Feast Days represent completion, and the eighth day, or The Great Day, signifies a new beginning—moving from temporary dwelling to eternal life in YAHUAH’s presence. Just as Yahshar’el transitioned from the wilderness to the Promised Land, so will YAHUAH’s people move from this earth through judgment into a new heaven and new earth. This is the fulfillment we will explore today.

What is The Last Great Day?

The Feast of Tabernacles concludes with the eighth day, often referred to as “The Last Great Day.” This title, “The Last Great Day,” comes from John 7:37, where John says that Yahusha spoke on “the great day, which is the last of the feast.” John was pointing out that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha) spoke on the eighth day at the Kodesh assembly, which followed the seven days of Sukkot (Leviticus 23:36). While the exact phrase “The Last Great Day” isn’t found in Scripture, it’s still commonly used to refer to this special day. More biblically accurate, though, would be “The Great Day,” as it’s called in John 7:37.

This day highlights the final stage of YAHUAH’s plan, pointing to judgment, renewal, and eternal life with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH). The eighth day not only concludes the seven days of Sukkot but also the entire cycle of the seven Set Apart Feast Days of YAHUAH, setting the stage for something new.

37. Now on the great day, which is the last of the feast, Yahusha was standing and He cried out and said, If a man thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.
38. Anyone who believes in me as the scriptures have said, rivers of living water will flow from his belly.
39. But He said this concerning the Ruach, whom the ones believing into Him were about to receive; for the Ruach Ha’Kodesh was not yet given, because Yahshua was not yet glorified.

Man Made Tradition vs Yahusha’s Proclamation

Tradition/Ritual

The Talmud (Jewish oral traditions and teachings) describes a ritual performed during the Feast of Tabernacles, where the priests draw water from the Pool of Siloam and pour it onto the altar in the Temple in Jerusalem. This ceremony was part of the “Water-Drawing Festival” (Simchat Beit HaShoeva), which took place each day of Sukkot. The water was poured as a prayer for rain and a reminder of YAHUAH’s provision of water during the Israelites’ journey in the desert. It also symbolized the hope for future spiritual renewal (Sukkah 4:9).

Yahusha’s Proclamation

On The Last Great Day, Yahusha stands in the midst of the people, using the water-pouring ceremony—a tradition not commanded by 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH)—to shift their focus from empty ritual to the profound truth that He is the Living Water. For seven days of Sukkot, the people poured water in joyful celebration, symbolizing YAHUAH’s provision of rain and the promise of the Ruach Ha’Kodesh’s outpouring. But on the eighth day, the water pouring ceased. It was then, in this sacred moment of silence, that Yahusha boldly proclaimed, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink!”

He revealed that the deep longing for rain and the Spirit’s outpouring had always pointed to Him as the true, eternal Source of life. The waters poured out in the ceremony were only a shadow of what Ezekiel saw—a river flowing from the Temple, bringing healing to the nations (Ezekiel 47:1-12). They echoed Zechariah’s vision of living waters flowing from Jerusalem in the last days (Zechariah 14:8). Yet, standing before them was 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha)—the fulfillment of these prophecies—offering not just a temporary outpouring, but an eternal wellspring of life.

The Last Great Day is more than a closing ceremony; it is YAHUAH’s final call before judgment—His last invitation to come and drink before the door is shut. In Yahusha, the rivers of salvation are opened, and those who receive His Ruach are transformed and prepared for the restoration of Yahshar’el and the world. To reject Him is to remain in thirst; to come to Him is to drink from the waters of eternal life. This is the invitation. This is the moment. Come and drink.

And it shall be in that day, living waters shall go out from Jerusalem, half of them shall go toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea; in summer and in winter it shall be.

Prophetic Glimpse

Following the seven days of Sukkot, this eighth day invites reflection on the ultimate fulfillment of YAHUAH’s plan for humanity. Revelation 20:11-12 offers a prophetic glimpse of this future:

“And I saw a Great White Throne, and the One sitting on it… And I saw the dead, the small and the great, standing before YAHUAH. And books were opened. And another Book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged out of the things written in the books, according to their works.”

This day foreshadows the final judgment and the promise of eternal life in the new heavens and earth. As the final appointed time of the biblical year, it marks the culmination of YAHUAH’s redemptive plan for humanity’s salvation and restoration. The Great White Throne judgment represents the end of the earth’s temporary nature and the beginning of the eternal reign of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH). In this new reality, there will be no more pain, death, or sorrow—only the fullness of His presence.

As we anticipate the new heavens and new earth, we are reminded that the pain and suffering of this present age are temporary. The promise of eternal life and the fullness of YAHUAH’s presence gives us hope and strength in the here and now.”

Prophetic Fulfillment of The Last Great Day

The Last Great Day represents the final judgment and the new beginning. Revelation 21:1-4 describes this fulfillment:

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away… And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) Himself shall be with them and be their Elohim. And He shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, nor mourning, nor crying, nor pain, for the former things have passed away.“

This appointed time is YAHUAH’s grand finale—His completion of His work of redemption. Those written in the Book of Life will enter into eternity with Him, while those who reject Him will face the second death (Revelation 20:14-15).

Conclusion

The Last Great Day is not just the conclusion of the Feast of Tabernacles—it is the climax of YAHUAH’s entire redemption plan. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha’s) invitation to drink from the living water reminds us that only in Him can we find true fulfillment. As we await the final fulfillment of this appointed time, we look forward to the day when all things will be made new, and YAHUAH’s presence will dwell fully with His people for eternity.

Sukkot

A Celebration of Joy and Restoration

Sukkot, also known as the Feast of Tabernacles, Feast of Booths, or Feast of Ingathering, is one of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH’s) appointed times, ordained as a kodesh (set apart/holy) feast day for His people Yahshar’el (Jacob/Israel). This festival begins on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, five days after the solemn Day of Atonement (Leviticus 23:34). This feast lasts seven days and concludes with an eighth day, known as Shemini Atzeret or the “Last Great Day.” Though the Eighth Day follows Sukkot, it is distinct from the seven appointed feasts and stands as a unique moed (appointed time), symbolizing the ultimate fulfillment of YAHUAH’s plan for eternity. It is a prophetic finale that might be viewed as having its own menorah stand to signify its profound and separate role, but it does not. It stands singular, signifying the closing of the age and the opening of a new eternal state.

Is Sukkot for Yahshar’el Alone?

Sukkot includes gentile grafted-in branches (Romans 11:17-24) and will consist of all nations in the future (Zechariah 14:16). Many people think or were taught that the Shabbat and the Feast days are not for them but strictly for Yahshar’el, but this is not the truth. YAHUAH expected Yahshar’el and all strangers, citizens, natives, or aliens dwelling among them to remember and keep kodesh the Shabbat and to honor His appointed Feast days (Ex. 20:10, Deut. 5:14, 16:11, 14, Lev. 16:29). The keeping of the Shabbat and Feast days by strangers who dwelled with Yahshar’el was a shadow or blueprint of what grafted-in branches (believers) are called and expected to do today.

Sukkot is far more than a historical event or a relic of the past. It is a living, prophetic celebration that calls Yahshar’el to reconnect with the deeper meaning of YAHUAH’s appointed times. In a time when so many are drifting from YAHUAH’s instructions, it’s critical to rediscover the profound significance behind Sukkot. Though Sukkot is rooted in the traditions of Yahshar’el, it’s not just about tradition. It’s about honoring the commands of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH) and the divine blueprint for spiritual growth, renewal, and a closer relationship with our Creator. If we neglect these kodesh observances, we miss out on the opportunity to embrace the transformative power of YAHUAH’s provision, promises, and the future restoration He has in store for His people.

Yahshar’el beautifully demonstrated this realignment during the time of Nehemiah (Nehemiah 8), when they openly recommitted to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 through the Feast of Booths. By celebrating this feast and rediscovering the Torah, they were empowered to seek YAHUAH’s presence, confess their sins (Nehemiah 9), and enter into a deep covenant with Him (Nehemiah 10). So embrace this kodesh Feast and allow it to ignite a renewed passion for faith, leading to a deeper relationship with YAHUAH and an understanding of His divine plan for your life!

Sukkot Defined and its Significance

The word “Sukkot” derives from the ancient Biblical Hebrew word ‘sukkah,’ which means ‘booth‘ or ‘tabernacle‘. These booths are temporary shelters that symbolize trust in YAHUAH’s provision, protection, and faithfulness. They also represent a reliance on 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and point to His future dwelling with His people (Revelation 21:3). It was in these booths out in the wilderness that YAHUAH was faithful and provided all the needs of Yahshar’el. Not only did YAHUAH provide their physical needs, but He also manifested His presence and tabernacled with His people every day of the 40 years of wandering in the wilderness (Exodus 13:21-22, 33:9-11, 40:34-38, Numbers 9:17-23).

During the millennium reign, YAHUAH is set to remain in the Shemayim (heavens) while 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha) will dwell among the people on earth in Jerusalem. Following this period, once every enemy has been conquered (as noted in Psalms 110:1-6) and even death has been defeated (as expressed in Isaiah 25:8 and 1 Corinthians 15:54-55), YAHUAH will come down to earth to dwell with Yahshar’el and the grafted-in branches. Yahshua will be at His right hand, fulfilling the divine plan laid out in Psalms 110:1 and 1 Corinthians 15:24-28. This promise signifies a profound reconciliation and unity between YAHUAH and His people, bringing about a time of ultimate restoration and peace.

24. Then is the end, when He delivers the kingdom to YAHUAH, even the Father, when He makes to cease all rule and all authority and power.

25. For it is right for Him to reign until He puts all enemies under His feet;°

26. the last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

27. For “He subjected all things under His feet;” but when He says that “all things have been subjected, it is plain that it excepts Him” (The Father) who has subjected all things to Him. °

Feast of Booths throughout the Scriptures:

The Feast of Sukkot (Feast of Booths) is deeply rooted in the Scriptures and has been kept since ancient times. Here’s how the Bible outlines it:

• Exodus 23:16, 34:22, Leviticus 23:34-43, Numbers 29:12-40, and Deuteronomy 16:13-17:
  • YAHUAH provided clear instructions for the Feast of Sukkot and how to keep it.
• Ezra 3:4 and Nehemiah 8:13-18:
  • The Yahshar’elites were faithful in observing the Feast of Sukkot throughout their history. Nehemiah 8:13-18 shows that after returning from exile, the people rediscovered the Torah and celebrated the feast with great joy or gladness. They honored YAHUAH by building booths and listening to the reading of His Word. In Ezra 3:4, we also see the return of Sukkot after the rebuilding of the altar, emphasizing the continued importance of this feast in the life of YAH’s people.
• John 7:1-2, 7:10:
  • Yahshua Himself and his disciples kept Sukkot. His participation highlights that the feast was not just for ancient Yahshar’el but remains significant for His followers today.

Sukkot: With Joy and Gladness

Simcha is the Hebrew word meaning joy, joyful, rejoice, gladness, etc. Its strong’s numbers are 8055, 8056, and 8057, with 8055 being the primitive root word for all three. It represents:

• A deep and continuous feeling of pleasantness
• A sense of moving forward and growth
• A Purpose and mission
• Anticipation of dreams, ambitions, or hopes being realized

And you shall take to yourselves on the first day the fruit of majestic trees, palm branches, and boughs of oak trees, and willows of the valley, and shall rejoice before 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 your Elohim seven days.

Simcha, which means joy or gladness, is different from happiness. Happiness is often fleeting and tied to our emotions; it comes and goes quickly. In contrast, simcha is enduring and long-lasting.

For example, consider a child who receives a gift from a parent. The child experiences happiness in that moment, but soon, the excitement fades, and the gift may be set aside and forgotten. However, simcha (joy) remains within that child, grounded in the knowledge that their parent’s love, protection, and care will always be there for them. YAHUAH’s promise to us, as stated in Deuteronomy 31:6 and Hebrews 13:5, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.“, should instill this same sense of simcha within us.

Therefore, the Feast of Tabernacles is a time of great rejoicing, symbolizing YAHUAH’s provision, protection, and care. As we learned earlier, YAHUAH’s provision, protection, and care were present during the wilderness journey. They are present with us here and now and will be more significant in the coming reign of Yahusha Messiah and thereafter. The joy we experience at Sukkot is not merely emotional but a deep, lasting joy rooted in our relationship with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. It is a time for us to openly share and express our Simcha and a time of worldwide Joy.

Deuteronomy 16:14-15 highlights this: “And you shall rejoice in your feast, you and your son, and your daughter, and your male slave, and your slave-girl, and the Levite, and the alien, and the fatherless, and the widow that are inside your gates. You shall keep a solemn feast seven days to YAHUAH your Elohim in the place which YAHUAH shall choose; for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 your Elohim shall bless you in all your produce, and in every work of your hands, and you shall be altogether joyful.“

Sukkot and the Ingathering

The Feast of Tabernacles is also referred to as the Feast of Ingathering (Exodus 23:16; 34:22) because it coincided with the final harvest of the agricultural year: “Also the Feast of Harvest, the first fruits of your labor, of what you sow in the field. Also the Feast of Ingathering, after the going out of the year, at your gathering your work from the field” and “And you shall observe a Feast of Weeks for yourself, the first-fruits of the harvest of wheat; also the Feast of Ingathering after the turn of the year.“

This great harvest symbolizes the future gathering of YAHUAH’s people, not only the firstfruits (the early harvest) but the greater ingathering at the return of Yahusha. Jeremiah 31:1 promises this restoration: “At that time, says 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, I will be the Elohim of all the families of Israel, and they shall be My people.“

The Day of Atonement, or Yom Kippur, is one of the most profound and solemn observances in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s appointed Kodesh (set apart/holy) feast days. It is a day directly tied to repentance of sin, transgression, iniquity, and reconciliation between 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and His people, Yahshar’el, and the later grafted in believers.

Many people confuse Yom Kippur and Passover due to their shared focus on introspection and spiritual renewal. However, the Day of Atonement differs from Passover’s purpose and focus. While Passover centers on deliverance and forgiveness, Yom Kippur emphasizes reconciliation—restoring the broken relationship between 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and His people. Yom Kippur reconciliation is about bringing Yahshar’el into unity or oneness with their Creator Abba 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

This day also foreshadowed the ultimate sacrifice of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha), whose atonement as High Priest allows Yahshar’el and grafted-in branches to be reconciled with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. So, with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏‘s sacrifice, our sins are not merely covered temporarily but removed, permanently bridging the gap between humanity and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. Together, these observances highlight a divine cycle of accountability, repentance, and restoration critical to the spiritual journey of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s people. The Day of Atonement is a cornerstone of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s plan for restoring creation, and today, we will delve into its profound truths.

“At-One-Ment” as Reconciliation

The term atonement literally means “At-one-ment” or “in harmony with.” The Encyclopedia Britannica explains that the word atonement was “developed in the English language in the 16th century by the combination of “at onement,” meaning to “set at one” or “to reconcile.” In the original Hebrew “kaphar” was the word used for atonement, meaning to cover, purge, or make peace. So, from the understanding of these words, we can see that this feast day was a process meant to restore the relationship between 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and His people. To further understand this concept, consider the following example: When a person is at odds with someone, there is a sense of disconnection or estrangement. So, if you are at odds with a person and you reconcile, you will come back into harmony or oneness with that person.

1. Day of At-one-ment: is not simply about atoning for sin in a conceptual sense, but about restoring the relationship with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. It is the day that symbolizes reconciliation, where the gap caused by sin is bridged, and the individual or the nation of Yahshar’el is once again “at one” with the Creator. Could you imagine all 12 tribes of Yahshar’el and all the grafted in branches, or better yet, all of humanity united in fasting, repentance, and reconciling with the Creator on that sacred day? What a transformative moment that would be!
2. Relationship through kaphar, Not Just Sacrifice: The Hebrew understanding of atonement is not just about giving something up or making a sacrifice; it’s about drawing closer to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. The Hebrew word for sacrifice, “korban,” comes from the root word “karav”, meaning to draw near. The purpose of the Day of Atonement is not only about repentance but restoring intimacy with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. Therefore, true repentance is not merely an acknowledgment of wrongdoing but a heartfelt return to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, fostering the closeness that sin disrupts.

Biblical Foundations of the Day of Atonement and its Requirements

The command and instructions for the Day of Atonement are clearly outlined in Leviticus 16, 23:27-32. This Kodesh day occurs on the tenth day of the seventh biblical month, a day designated for humbling oneself, fasting, and refraining from all work. It is described as a “Sabbath of rest” and a statute to be observed as a “NEVER ENDING statute throughout your generations, in all your dwellings” (Leviticus 23:31-32).

Then I called a fast there at the river Ahava, so that we might humble ourselves before our Elohim, in order to seek from Him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our goods.

Afflicting the Soul

“It is a Sabbath of rest to you, and you shall humble (afflict) your souls…(Leviticus 23:32)”. One of the key requirements for the Day of Atonement is to “weaken your bodies” or “afflict your soul.” These phrases are biblically understood to mean fasting, as evidenced in Isaiah 58:3-6 and Ezra 8:21.

Isaiah 58:6-11 further highlights the true purpose of fasting: to humble oneself, seek 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s righteousness, and align one’s life with His will. The Day of Atonement reminds Yahshar’el of the seriousness of sin and the necessity of genuine repentance to restore the covenant relationship with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

The Britannica Encyclopedia defines fasting as abstinence from food or drink or both for health, ritualistic, religious, or ethical purposes. Fasting represents humility and repentance, drawing closer to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and acknowledging our complete dependence on Him. This act of self-denial is meant to humble and focus the mind and spirit on seeking forgiveness and restoration.

Other Requirements

• Afflicting the soul/Fasting – No Eating or Drinking from sundown to sundown
• Spend time with Abba 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 in self-examination with a heart to reconcile
• No work, cooking, buying or selling
• Fellowship with other Kodesh believers if possible
• Refrain from self-seeking activities or distractions from the Kodeshness of the day
• Rest

What the Feast is Not

Rejecting Syncretism and Modern Misunderstandings

Modern Jewish traditions often associate the Day of Atonement with customs and interpretations that diverge from its biblical roots. For example, Yom Kippur has been influenced by rabbinic practices focusing on rituals and public worship rather than the heart of the observance—repentance and reconciliation. As Yahshar’elites seeking the truth of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s Word, it is vital to return to the biblical foundation of this Kodesh (set apart) day. Below are a few examples of things practiced on Yom Kippur that are not found in the Torah (Take note of how they parallel Catholic/Christian practices):

• Yizkor: Memorial prayers for the dead. These prayers are based on the belief that the souls of the dead are immortal and can benefit from the good deeds of their survivors. This idea that the dead can be aided through prayer is foreign to Scripture. (Catholics pray for the dead on All Souls’ Day, every day at Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, and Requiem Mass. Catholics also pray to dead saints, believing that the dead saints can intercede on their behalf with their god because they are close to Him.)
• Kol Nidre: A prayer that seeks to annul vows, oaths, and promises made to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 as well as future failings. These types of prayers are recited at the start of Yom Kippur. (Catholics practice dispensation from vows and indulgences.
• The Kaparot Ritual (The “Atonement” Fowl): is done on the eve of Yom Kippur. Individuals atone for their sins by swinging a chicken over their heads while reciting a ritualistic prayer that transfers their sins to the bird. The chicken is then slaughtered and traditionally given to the poor as charity. However, since the practice has become controversial due to animal welfare concerns, some have started to wave bags of money over their heads to atone for their sins and then give the money away. (Catholics practice Confession, Absolution, and indulgences.

The heritage given to Yahshar’el by 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is rich, complete, and sufficient, as revealed in His Torah. Yet, over time, many people (tares) have felt the need to add their own interpretations, customs, or innovations, which has led to confusion and distortion of the original intent. There is a reason for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 commanding humanity not to change His word (Deuteronomy 4:2; Revelation 22:18-19). It keeps the focus on His pure and unaltered teachings rather than getting swept up in manufactured traditions that divert from the truth, like Christmas, Easter, Ash Wednesday, Halloween, and even Thanksgiving.

Prophetic Fulfillment

The observance of Yom Kippur is rich with prophetic significance, particularly in the command involving two goats described in Leviticus 16. These two goats collectively illustrate two critical aspects of atonement that find their ultimate fulfillment in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha) Ha’Mashiach:

1. The Sin Offering: The first goat is sacrificed, symbolizing 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏‘s death for the forgiveness of sins. This goat represents the necessity of a pure and sinless sacrifice to atone for the transgressions of Yahshar’el (Leviticus 16:15-16; Isaiah 53:10).
2. The Scapegoat (Azazel): The second goat, upon which the people’s sins are symbolically placed, is sent into the wilderness. This act signifies the removal of sin and its consequences from 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s people (Leviticus 16:21-22). 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha) is the representation of bearing away the sins of His people through His life and resurrection (Romans 5:10), embodying the ultimate scapegoat described in Leviticus 16.

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏‘s (Yahusha) sacrifice fulfills the two goat ritual of the Day of Atonement. As the sin offering, He took upon Himself the penalty for sin (Romans 5:8-9). As the High Priest, He entered the heavenly tabernacle to intercede for His people (Hebrews 9:11-14). His resurrection signifies the removal of sin and the promise of eternal life, completing the work the two goats symbolized.

The trial of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha) before Pilate (John 18:38-40) offers a striking parallel to the two goats of Yom Kippur. The crowd chose Barabbas (“son of the father”) to go free over 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏, the true Son of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. Barabbas represents humanity’s rebellion, while 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 represents the ultimate atoning sacrifice. This choice underscores the spiritual significance of Yom Kippur: the need to choose reconciliation with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 through 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏.

Reconciliation of Yahshar’el and the Nations

Leviticus 16:34 emphasizes that the Day of Atonement is “a never ending statute to atone for the sons of Yahshar’el, because of all their sins, once a year.” This points to Yahshar’el’s unique role in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s plan, but it also foreshadows the inclusion of the nations in this reconciliation through 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha). Romans 5:10, Ephesians 2:14-17, Colossians 1:19-22, and John 3:16 highlight that through 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏‘s life and sacrifice, both Yahshar’el and the nations as grafted in branches can be reconciled to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

The Final Judgment

The Day of Atonement prophetically aligns with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏‘s (Yahusha) role as Judge and King. When He returns, He will finalize the work of atonement by separating the righteous (sheep) from the wicked (goats) and establishing 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s Kingdom on earth (Matthew 25:31-46). The Azazel goat’s removal into the wilderness symbolizes the ultimate removal of sin and its consequences.

By rejecting modern misunderstandings and returning to the biblical Torah-based foundations of Yom Kippur, we honor 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s appointed times and prepare our hearts for the ultimate fulfillment of His plan. The Day of Atonement is not just a historical observance but a prophetic glimpse into the restoration of all creation through 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 our Messiah. Let us, as Yahshar’el and grafted-in branches, heed the call to humility, repentance, and reconciliation, keeping this day holy as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 has commanded.

So use the 24 hours (sunset to sunset) of Yom Kippur and honestly look in the mirror, reflecting on your relationship with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. This is a time to examine your life, seek forgiveness, and reconcile not just with Him, but with those around you. As we prepare for the return of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Yahusha) and the ultimate restoration of all things, let us commit to being at one with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, allowing His mercy and grace to wash over us, and truly embrace the depth of reconciliation He offers through His Son.

Yom Teruah, also known as the Feast of Trumpets or the Feast of Clamoring, must be observed as commanded in Leviticus 23:23-25 on the first day of the 7th month (Ethanim – 1 Kings 8:2).

It Is From This Ceremony That the Feast of Trumpets Draws Its Name!

And 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the sons of Yahshar’el, saying, In the seventh month, on the first of the month, a Holy Day Sabbath shall be to you, a memorial acclamation of the resounding of TRUMPETS, a holy gathering. You shall do no laborious work and you shall bring a fire offering to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

The Feast of Trumpets initiates the final events and feast days in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s plan. It also marks a time of introspection and preparation. It serves as a wake-up call for us to examine our lives, repent, and return to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 while leading up to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.

What the Feast is Not

The Feast of Trumpets should never be celebrated or referred to as Rosh Hashanah (beginning of the year or head of the year), as the Jewish do, which is a form of syncretism. Rosh Hashanah, over time, changed the focus from a solemn day of repentance, trumpet blasts, and anticipation of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 or Yahshua) return to a celebratory day. A day in which they celebrate a false New Year, false head of month (see note below), and disregard the prophetic return 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏, whom they reject.

Comparison of the Two:

• Yom Teruah: In the Bible, the first day of the seventh month (Ethanim) is the Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah), a biblical Holy Day mentioned in Leviticus 23:23-25 and Numbers 29:1. It is a day of shofar blasts, a call for repentance, remembrance, and a prophetic symbol of the future return of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 Ha-Mashiach. The day marks the start of introspection and preparation leading up to Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.

• Rosh Hashanah: Over time, Jewish rabbinical tradition developed Rosh Hashanah as the Jewish New Year and associated it with the same day (the first day of the seventh month). This adaptation of the day gradually shifted its focus from the biblical call to repentance and prophetic meanings to a more commemorative and reflective observance. It became a time to celebrate the world’s creation and new year, to reflect on one’s deeds over the past year, and to pray for a good new year.

Prophetic Significance of the Feast of Trumpets in 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s Plan

The Feast of Trumpets is much more than a historical or ceremonial observance; it is deeply connected to the unfolding of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s ultimate plan for humanity. You can see this in the intricacy of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s choosing of the month. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 could have chosen any month, but He chose the seventh to underline the perfection of His timing and the elegance of His symbolism, with the Feast of Trumpets mirroring the seven trumpet blasts of Revelations. The number seven represents perfection and completion in Scripture, making this feast even more significant in the unfolding of His redemptive plan.

The Feast of Trumpets not only serves as a call to repentance and introspection but also carries deep prophetic meaning, pointing forward to the ultimate gathering of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s people at the end of the age, when 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 returns to establish the Kingdom of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (1 Corinthians 15:24-28, Matthew 6:10, John 5:19-23, Revelation 11:15).

Additionally, the Feast of Trumpets foreshadows the terrible tribulation that will precede 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏‘s return—a time of unprecedented upheaval marking the final stages of humanity’s redemption. It is essential to understand that both Yahshar’el and the grafted-in branches will still be present on earth during this time of great tribulation. Contrary to popular belief within Christianity, there is NO pre-tribulation rapture mentioned in Scripture. This doctrine is a deception that distorts the true teachings of the Word. Rapture theology falsely claims believers will be spared from the tribulation and that the Mark of the Beast will come after the supposed rapture. Unfortunately, this false belief has already deceived many. It will undoubtedly lead many more to think they will escape hardship, leaving them unprepared and vulnerable to receiving the Mark of the Beast.

Meanings of the Trumpets

(Tribulation, Return of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏, and Gathering of the Elect)

Trumpets were sounded to:

• Announce 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄’s festivals (Numbers 10:10, Leviticus 23:24, 2 Chronicles 5:12)
• Call His people to assembly (Numbers 10:2-3, 4-7, Leviticus 25:9), and proclaim the reign of a new king (1 Kings 1:34-39, 2 Samuel 15:10).
• Alarm, Warn, Invade (Jeremiah 4:19-21, Joel 2:1, Joshua 6:4-5).

The piercing blast of the trumpet struck fear in ancient Yahshar’el, signaling the urgency and danger of approaching conflict. The Feast of Trumpets is a crucial biblical observance tied to prophetic trumpet blasts that mark the beginning of the final events.

Blow a ram’s horn in Zion, and shout an alarm in My holy mountain. Let all those living in the land tremble. For the day of YAHWEH approaches; it is near.

It will be a period marked by suffering, deceit, and the rise of the Anti-Mashiach (Antichrist). 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 commanding the Feast of Trumpets to be celebrated in the seventh month shows His prophetic foreshadowing of the seven trumpet judgments in the Book of Revelation, which signal the outpouring of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s wrath on the earth. These seven trumpet blasts announce the end of this age and the final judgment, calling attention to the rise of global turmoil and the culmination of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏‘s return. The trumpets are both warnings of coming judgment and a call for repentance, echoing the urgency of the Feast of Trumpets as a day for the people of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 to prepare for His coming and the tribulation that precedes it.
  • Matthew 24:21-22 – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 warns of a time of tribulation “such as has not happened from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.”
  • Revelation 8:6-9:21 describes the seven trumpet judgments that are released upon the earth. Each trumpet blast signals a specific judgment or event that causes turmoil and devastation. These trumpet judgments mark the intensifying of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s wrath and the worsening of the tribulation.

The tribulation is a period where 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s people are tested, and the nations face the consequences of their rejection of Him and His People Yahshar’el (Jeremiah 46-51).

The Return of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 (Second Coming):

• 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏‘s Return happens after the tribulation and will announced by the trumpet blast. The return of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 is both a judgment and a gathering of His people.
  • Matthew 24:30-31 – “And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the heavens. And then all the tribes of the land will wail. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of Heaven with power and much glory. And He will send His cherubs with a great sound of a large trumpet, and they will gather His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.“
  • 1 Corinthians 15:52 – “In a moment, in the blinking of an eye, at the last trumpet; for a trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall all be changed.“
  • Revelation 11:15 – “And the seventh cherub trumpeted. And there were great rumblings of thunder saying, The kingdoms of this world have become our Elohim’s, even of His Messiah; and He shall reign forever and ever.“

The seventh trumpet (the last trumpet) marks the ultimate victory of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 and the establishment of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s Kingdom on Earth. The trumpet sound at His return is the signal for the gathering of the elect and the commencement of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏‘s reign.

The Gathering of the Elect:

• The gathering of the elect (Yahshar’el Deut 7:6, Isaiah 45:4 and Grafted-in wildbranches Romans 11:17-24) is when 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 returns and calls His people to Himself. This follows the trumpets’ announcement of His arrival and is linked directly to the trumpet sound in scripture.
  • Matthew 24:31 speaks of the angels gathering the elect after the trumpet sounds: “And He will send His cherubs with a great sound of a large trumpet, and they will gather His chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.”
  • 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 – “Because the Master Himself shall come down from Heaven with a commanding shout of an archangel’s voice, and with the trumpet of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. And the dead in Messiah will rise again first. Then we who remain alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet with our Master in the air. And so we will always be with our Master.”

The trumpet that sounds at the return of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 signals the resurrection of the dead and the gathering of His people from all corners of the earth. This is the moment when the faithful are redeemed, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏‘s Kingdom is established.

What to Do on Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets):

• Rest and Worship: As a High Shabbat, no regular work is permitted on this day. It is a day of rest and sacred observance, where Yahshar’el and Grafted-in believers are called to cease from their usual labor and dedicate the day to spiritual reflection and worship.
• Holy Gathering: It is a time to gather with fellow believers for fellowship and worship, aligning with the biblical call for a “holy convocation” (Leviticus 23:24).
• Blowing of the Trumpets: The sound of the shofar (ram’s horn) plays a central role in Yom Teruah. It is a symbol of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s call to His people to gather together, to reflect on their lives, repent, and prepare spiritually for the coming judgment and redemption. The trumpets also have eschatological significance, pointing to the future gathering of the faithful at the return of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 and the resurrection of the dead, as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 15:52.
• Feasting and Cooking: Cooking is allowed on the Feast of Trumpets.
• Introspection and Repentance

Conclusion

The trumpets throughout the prophetic timeline are signals of judgment, victory, and gathering, each marking significant moments in the unfolding of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s redemptive plan, leading to the return of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤔𐤏 and the restoration of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄‘s Kingdom.

Unfortunately, Christianity (Roman Catholicism) and Rome did not stop at the reeducation of the masses, as we learned in part 3. They continued by rebranding Scriptures and laws into their own likeness for their own benefit and the appeasement of pagans. Our topic for part 4, “Changing Dietary Instructions,” is also part of the rebranding of these lawless people. This topic is extensive and covers various areas, so I will divide it into multiple “Food For Thoughts” to make it more comprehensible. Doing so allows us to delve deeper into each aspect and ensure that nothing important is left out.

If you haven’t already had the opportunity to read through the previous parts of this “Food For Thought” series. I highly recommend that you do so before proceeding with this portion. Diet

It should be the absolute understanding of all mankind that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, the creator and owner of everything in existence, has the absolute right to dictate what His creations can and cannot do, including what they can consume as food. After all, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 created every plant and animal clean and unclean and gave it its purpose. The Bible provides clear instructions for food consumption, emphasizing specific dietary restrictions.

However, some religious beliefs, such as Catholicism and Christianity, allow and often promote people to consume anything they want as long as they pray over it or bless it beforehand. The world governments (Beast System) have also granted permission and promoted consuming things that the Bible designates as unclean and not food, like pigs, shrimp, crabs, rats, catfish, rabbits, squids, and other questionable things. 

Interpretations of the restriction on consuming Biblically unclean animal flesh have varied throughout history due to diverse religious beliefs, cultural traditions, and a void of Biblical truth. The Bible provides a thorough guide to what mankind should eat and what we should avoid to maintain good health and spiritual purity. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 provided these guidelines so His creations would lead a healthy and fulfilling physical and spiritual life through obedience.

The Evolution of Food in the Bible

1. Genesis 1:29-30, 2:9, 2:16-17: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 original plan was for all humankind and animals to be plant eaters (vegetarians, vegans, and herbivores). However, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 restricted the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, commanding Adam not to eat of it.
2. Genesis 3:21: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 sacrificed the first animal to provide clothing for Adam and Eve after they disobeyed Him and became aware of their nakedness. Yet, even then, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 did not grant humans the freedom or permission to consume the flesh of the animals He created.
3. Genesis 7:2, 8:20: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 explains to Noah that there are clean and unclean animals.
4. Genesis 6:5-6, 7:2, 8:20, 9:3-4: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 flooded the Earth after seeing that every inclination of man’s heart was continually evil. The flood wiped out most of the Earth’s vegetation, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 permitted mankind to eat the flesh of animals. The question is, what animals, the clean or unclean ones? Noah brought seven pairs of each clean animal and only one pair of each unclean animal. It’s clear from Noah’s righteousness and the limited number of unclean animals that he and his family consumed the clean animals. By doing so, he ensured the survival of the unclean animals, preventing them from going extinct. Additionally, Noah knew which animals were meant for food since 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 had differentiated between the clean and unclean animals. This knowledge helped him to understand that unclean animals were not meant for food. Leviticus 11 further explains that unclean animals were detestable and unfit for human consumption and, therefore, inedible. It is also important to note that in Genesis 8:20, you don’t see Noah offering any unclean animals to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 as a burnt offering.
5. Leviticus 11 and Deuteronomy 14:3-21: 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 lays out what we can and can not eat. (Nowhere in the Bible will you find the authorization to eat unclean meat.)

Misinterpretations of the Scripture

Does the New Testament Annul the Dietary Laws of Lev 11 and Deut 14

Before delving into the scriptures we are about to cover, it is essential to ask 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 to open your mind to the understanding of the Scriptures (Luke 24:45). You should also take care to keep the scriptures in context (Isaiah 28:9-10) and be willing to research other books of the Bible (2 Peter 1:20) to gain a comprehensive understanding. Ok let’s begin with the words of Yahshua in Matthew 5:17-19

17. Do not think that I (Yahshua) came to annul the Torah or the Prophets; I did not come to annul, but to fulfill.

18. Truly I say to you, Until the Heaven and the Earth pass away, in no way shall one yod or one stroke pass away from the Torah until all comes to pass.

19. Therefore, whoever loosens one of these commandments, the least, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the worst in the kingdom of Heaven. But whoever does and teaches them, this one shall be called great in the kingdom of Heaven

We can see that Yahshua did not change or annul the law of His Father 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 or the words of the Prophets. Directly from the very mouth of Yahshua, it was clearly stated that not one law of the original Torah, which includes the dietary law, would be abolished. Not one yod or one stroke would be changed until Heaven and Earth pass away. He followed that with a warning to anyone who loosens one of the commandments just a little or teaches men so. That commandment breaker will be called the least or worst in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Definition of Annul:

• To declare or make legally invalid or void
• To reduce to nothing: OBLITERATE
• To make ineffective or inoperative: NEUTRALIZE

Definition of Fulfill:

• To put into effect: EXECUTE
• To meet the requirements of
• To measure up to
• To develop the full potentialities of
• To convert into reality

Matthew 5:17-19 is in agreement with the prophetic words of Isaiah 42:21, which state that Yahshua would come to magnify the Torah (law), meaning to grow, make greater, or make stronger. These scriptures also agree with the prophecies in Isaiah 2:2-3 and Micah 4:1-3, which both speak of the future when the house of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is established at the top of the mountains in Jerusalem. From that mountain, the ways and word of mighty 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 will be taught, and the Torah (law) will go forth, signifying that the law is everlasting. Isaiah 24:1-6 also talks about the end times in which humanity has transgressed the Torah (law), violated statutes, and broke the EVERLASTING COVENANT, leading to a curse. This also shows that the law of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is everlasting.

Definition of Everlasting:

• Lasting or enduring through all time: ETERNAL
• Continuing for a long time or indefinitely
• Wearing indefinitely
• In strictness is that which endures forever; either that which has no beginning and will have no end, or that which, having a beginning, will have no end, but henceforth will exist forever. (Biblestudytools)

Asks yourself! Would it make sense for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 to create an everlasting covenant, which is the Torah, and then annul it (do away with), leaving a “just believe” loophole for those who don’t want to follow His commands, laws, and precepts? Would it make sense for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 to hold His chosen people to the Torah and then punish them with Deuteronomy 28 for not following it, to later do away with it for them and everyone else, and then come back in the end times, punish the Earth and its people for not following the Torah, and then start teaching it again from the holy mountain? The answer to both is NO, it does not make sense.

Then, why is there a widespread belief among Christianity and many others that not only have the dietary laws that are a part of the Torah done away with but that Yahshua Himself was the one who did away with them, along with Kefa (Peter) and Shaul (Paul)? It is because of blatant misinterpretation of the Scriptures in Mark, Matthew, Acts, Timothy, 1 Corinthians, and Romans. In some ways, these Scriptures have also been erroneously translated in the King James Version (KJV) and other Bibles. In reality, the dietary laws have not been abolished and remain an integral part of the Torah. If Yahshua annulled or abolished it, He would be in violation of His own words: “I DID NOT COME TO ANNUL.”

Conclusion

Next week, YAH willing, we will continue the “Changing Dietary Instructions” portion and investigate some of the misunderstandings, mistranslations, and misinterpretations of Scriptures relating to dietary law.

• Educate or train (someone) in order to change their beliefs or behavior. (Oxford Dictionary)
• to train again – especially : to rehabilitate through education (Merriam-Webster Dictionary)

Throughout the past few weeks, we have examined some difficult and complex issues surrounding names, oppression, slavery, occupation, and race. For some, the biblical perspectives have provided profound and meaningful insight. In contrast, others have found these last few Food for Thoughts uncomfortable and heartbreaking. Despite the emotional reactions that these discussions may have prompted, we must continue in the pursuit of becoming reeducated with the truth.

We must push forward to explore these issues to gain an even deeper understanding of their impact on our society’s past, present, and future. The three-part strategy that we have been discussing is more inclusive than the Yahshar’elite’s slavery in Ancient Babylon and the Transatlantic Slave trade. Christianity (Roman Catholicism) and Rome used the strategies to attack the Torah and the prophets, the testimony of Yahshua Hakashiach, and Nazarenes (Acts 24:5), AKA followers of The Way (followers of both the law of YAH and the testimony of Yahshua Act 24:14, Act 18:26, Revelation 12:17). This week will cover the reeducated masses.

Three-Part Strategy Found in Scripture

1. Reeducate them in the ways of the Chaldeans as well as writing and speech (Daniel 1:4)
2. Change their diets to foods that would defile them (Daniel 1:5)
3. Change their names (Daniel 1:6-7)

4. …teach them the writing and the language of the Chaldeans. 

5. And the king set to them the portion of a day in its day, from the king’s food, and the wine of his drinking, even to rear them three years, so that at their end they may stand before the king.

Through the Lens of the Religion (Christianity)

Reeducated

Religions (Roman Catholic, Protestant, Judaism, and others) and world governments have slowly and meticulously reeducated and conned the masses over the centuries into following false doctrines. Through syncretism and inculturation, they authorized different ideas, worship practices, and lifestyles to merge into what people currently know as Christianity. Unless you read and study your Bible regularly and test everything (Acts 17:11), you will not be able to see the camouflaged paganism that influences multiple aspects of Christianity and the reeducated people. 

Far removed are the days when Nazarene (Christians) were known and persecuted for obeying the law and following Yahshua. Far removed are the days when the Nazarene and followers of The Way stood for righteousness. Now, many “Christians” live in the hidden delusion or according to their own hearts desire. But how did we get here? The answer is simple: the masses, including me at one time, were educated and reeducated by both learned and unlearned clergy, family members, friends, and the world with camouflaged paganism. Let’s look at what the Bible teaches and then what man teaches.

These are appointed times of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, holy gatherings which you shall proclaim in their appointed seasons.

Yahuah has given His children Yahshar’el and grafted in branches (Romans 11:17-31) Feast Days. Days for spending time with Him and fellowshipping with family (the body of Yahshua), because truly your family is who Yahshua pointed out in Matthew 12:48-50. Throughout history, people have often turned away from the teachings of the Bible and its traditions that have been passed down to them. Instead of observing the holy days and feasts that have been appointed, many have chosen to celebrate man-made (artificial) holidays. This disobedience can be attributed to a number of factors, including a desire for greater freedom and autonomy, exposure to paganism and other similar ideologies, a lack of faith in religious institutions, a growing sense of individualism, or being reeducated with false doctrine. Whatever the reasons, it is clear that this trend has profoundly impacted how people approach faith and tradition in the modern world. 

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Days and Feast Days to Celebrate and Observe

The Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread

The Passover must observed on the 14th day of the first month. The Feast of Unleavened Bread follows the Passover for seven days, starting on the 15th and ending on the 21st. The first and the last days of the Feast of Unleavened Bread are special Shabbat annuals (holy convocations or days of rest).

• Exodus 12 – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 commands the Passover and provides specific instructions.
• Numbers 9:1-5, Leviticus 23:4-8 – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 commands the Passover.
• Joshua 5:10 – Yahshar’el celebrated the Passover.
• Luke 2:41-43 – Yahshua and His earthly family observed Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
• Luke 22:15, John 2:13-23, John 13:1-3 – Yahshua celebrated the Passover.
• Matthew 26:17-28, Mark 14:12-25 – Yahshua celebrated the Passover and showed that He is the Passover unblemished lamb.
• 1 Corinthians 5:7 – Yahshua is our Passover Lamb. Therefore, we don’t need to kill a lamb anymore.
• Acts 18:21 – Paul Observes the Passover (This is the winter time in the year 51 or 52 AD. The only feast Paul could be referring to was Passover).

Shavuot or Pentecost, also called the Feast of Weeks or Feast of First Fruits

Shavuot or Pentecost must be observed by counting 50 days after the weekly Shabbat during Unleavened Bread. These fifty days will total seven complete Shabbat days. Shavuot is a Shabbat-annual (holy convocation or day of rest)

• Leviticus 23:9-22 – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 commands the Shavuot (Feast of Weeks or Feast of First Fruits) and provides specific instructions.
• Act 2:1-5 – After Yahshua’s death, burial, and resurrection. His closest followers, Peter, the other Apostles, and many others numbering around 120, kept the Shabbat and Shavuot (Pentecost).
• Act 20:16 – Paul kept the day of Shavuot (Pentecost).

Yom Teruah (Feast of Clamoring or Trumpets)

The Feast of Trumpets must be observed on the first day of the 7th month. It is a Shabbat-annual (holy convocation or days of rest).

• Leviticus 23:23-25 – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Yom Teruah (Feast of Clamoring or Trumpets) and provides specific instructions.

Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement)

The Day of Atonement must be observed on the 10th day of the 7th month. It is a Shabbat-annual (holy convocation or days of rest). Yom Kippur is a day for reconciliation to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

• Leviticus 23:26-32 – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 commands Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and provides specific instructions.

Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles or Booths) and The Eighth Day

The Feast of Tabernacles is a seven-day feast that must be observed starting on the 15th day of the 7th month. The first day of the feast is an annual Shabbat (holy convocation or days of rest). The Eighth Day is a separate Shabbat-annual (holy convocation or days of rest) celebration.

• Leviticus 23:33-36 – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 commands Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles or Booths) and provides specific instructions.
• John 7:1-2, 7:10 – Yahshua went to the feast of Tabernacles.

Shabbat

The 7th Day of Every week is a day of rest. The Shabbat would be Saturday on the Gregorian calendar that most of the world follows. Pope Gregory XIII established the Gregorian calendar in 1582 through the papal bull Inter gravissimas. Yes, the Western world, along with other parts of the world, has been reeducated several times, has followed the Pope’s orders, and continues to do so. Check out the Blue Laws around the world.

• Genesis 2:2-3 – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 blessed the 7th day and made it Qadosh (Holy) and he rested. The setting apart of the Shabbat day as Holy goes back to the beginning of “Creation.” The Hebrew word for “rest or rested’ is “Shabbat”.
• Exodus 20:8-11 – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 commands Yahshar’el to Remember the Shabbat and to keep it Qadosh (Holy).
• Exodus 31:16 – 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 commands Yahshar’el to guard the Shabbat.
• Luke 4:16-30 Mark 1:21, Mark 6:2, Luke 6:6-11, Luke 13:10-16, Luke 14:1-5 – Yahshua observed the Shabbat day as was his custom.
• Acts 13:13-15, 42-44, Acts 17:2, Acts 18:4 – Shaul (Paul) observed the Shabbat as was his custom.
• Acts: 18:5-11 – Acts also gives us a time frame covering one year and six months, totaling 78 weeks, equaling 77 or 78 Shabbats. Shaul and the disciples with him observed every one of those 77-78 Shabbats.
• Isaiah 66:22-23 and Matthew 24:20 – Prophetic Scriptures show that people will still observe the Shabbat in the future.

7. and in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the command-ments of men.”
8. For forsaking the commandment of YAHWEH, you hold the tradition of men: washing of utensils and cups, and many other such like things you do.
9. And He said to them, Well do you to set aside the commandment ofYAHWEH so that you may establish your own tradition?

Man Made Feast Days or Holidays

• Ash Wednesday – Pagan – There are two days of celebrated overindulgence and revelry. The first is Collop Monday, a day dedicated to consuming eggs and bacon. The second is Fat Tuesday, also known as Shrove Tuesday, Pancake Day, or Mardi Gras. These two days lead up to Ash Wednesday when Christians receive an ash mark on their forehead as a sign of fasting, which goes against the teachings of Yahshua (Matt 6:16-18). The fast goes for 40 days. This practice is also mentioned in scripture, where women worshiped Tammuz, and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 called it an abomination (Ezekiel 8:13-15). The mourning of Tammuz is also a 40-day annual practice that is initiated with the placement of the TAU symbol on the foreheads of worshippers, similar to the use of ashes on Ash Wednesday. The tradition of using ashes on the forehead has its origins in Hinduism. Were the people reeducated with Ash Wednesday in place of Tammuz worship and Hinduism practices?
• Lent –  Pagan – Is the continuation of Collop Monday, Fat Tuesday, and Ash Wednesday. Christians say that Lent is a forty-day fast to honor JC. The truth is that Tammuz was worshipped and mourned for 40 days. This is a continuation of Tammuz worship. 
• Saint Patrick’s Day –  Pagan – The origins of the day can be traced back to a pagan solar holiday that was created to worship the Sun’s warmth, light, and rebirth. This ancient festival was intended to usher in the Ostara festival, which shares many symbols with Easter, such as spring flowers, butterflies, rabbits, and eggs. On March 17th, the world celebrates St. Patrick’s Day, one of the two days in a year when an Equilux occurs. An Equilux is when the night and day are equally 12 hours long. Following this, the Spring Equinox begins, which is when the Sun passes directly over the equator. This event is considered the start of the Sun’s rebirth, recognized by the days becoming longer or the Sun ruling most of the day.

• Sunday Christian Shabbat or The Lord’s Day– Pagan – dies Solis, the Day-of-the-Sun. Pagans have been worshipping the Sun since Nimrod established Babylon. Sunday has been used to worship the Sun as Baal (Lord), Bel, Shamash, Molok, Ahura-Mazda, Dagon, Sol, Marduk, Mithras/Apollo, Krishna, Amon-Ra, Aton, Woden (Odin), Zeus, Deus, and God. In 321 CE, Constantine decreed under the penalty of death that all people in his empire cease work on the Venerable Day of the Sun in honor of Mithras/Apollo. This mandate is still active in many countries worldwide, including the USA, as Blue Laws. It’s important to note that nowhere in the Bible does it state that the Shabbat was on the first day of the week or changed to the first day of the week.

Days of the Weeks and Months

• 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 named them Day 1-7 and called the 7th day Holy, the day rest (Shabbat). 
• Man named the days of the week after their gods and planets in the solar system.
  • Day 1 – Sunday – Worship of Baal (Lord), Bel, Ra, GOD, Zeus – Sun worship (Latin dies Solis). Emperor Constantine I, in AD 321, mandated the observance of Sunday as a day of rest for all citizens.
  • Day 2 – Monday – Worship of Artemis (Diana) – Moon worship (Moon day) (Latin and Spanish as Lune and Lunes meaning moon)
  • Day 3 – Tuesday – Worship of the idol Týr (Tiu) or Mars, the god of war – The French call this day Mardi (Mar’s Day), from which Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday derive. (Latin and Spanish as Martis or Martes)
  • Day 4 – Wednesday – Worship of the Idol Woden (Odin), the planet and god Mercury (Latin and Spanish as Mercurii and Miércoles)
  • Day 5 – Thursday – Worship of the idol Thor (Son of Woden and Freya) – Jupiter worship (Latin and Spanish as Iovis and Jueves)

This interesting fact provides more evidence that the Gregorian calendar Saturday is the true Shabbat. The Origin Roman Year had only 10 Months. January and February were added later in the Year of Confusion because the seasons were getting confused.

• March – Original the first month – Named for the war deity Mars
• April – The Month of Venus (Aprilis)
• May – Names for the female deity Maia (Gaia, Mother Earth or Mother Nature)

• July – Named after Julius Caesar, the first emperor of Rome, and was later deified after his death.
• August – Named after Augustus Caesar, the second emperor of Rome. He honored himself in an attempt to match the glory of Julius Caesar.

Conclusion

Education is crucial to our lives. It shapes our perception of the world and guides our beliefs. However, in this information age, we have access to a wealth of resources that can help us discover the truth. We can follow the example of the Bereans in Acts 17, who diligently searched the scriptures to confirm what they were taught. We should not fear the discovery of truth, for it is the key to our freedom from the lies that Satan, religion, and world governments have told us. The Bible teaches in John 8:32 that the truth will set us free. We no longer have to live in ignorance and deception. Instead, we can embark on a journey seeking to become reeducated with the truth. This pursuit of truth requires us to be prayerful, Ruach HaKadosh lead, willing to fast, studier of the Bible, and diligent. We also must be willing to question our beliefs and examine the evidence for and against them. Only then can we develop a clear understanding of the world and the truth that lies within it and become reeducated with the truth.

In part 1 of our discussion, we talked about the horrific three-part strategy the Babylonians used to slave, torment, and oppress Yahshar’el, Daniel, and three Hebrew men, ChananYAH, Mish’el, and AzarYAH. Three-Part Strategy Found in Scripture

1. Reeducate them in the ways of the Chaldeans as well as writing and speech (Daniel 1:4)
2. Change their diets to foods that would defile them (Daniel 1:5)
3. Change their names (Daniel 1:6-7)

Through the Lens of the Transatlantic Slave Trade

The historical event of the Hebrew captivity recorded in the book of Daniel serves as a crucial reference for understanding the Transatlantic Slave Trade and the perpetual oppression and trials that it brought and continues to bring. The Transatlantic Slave Trade brought many Hebrew and African people to America to become slaves. These enslaved people are now commonly referred to as Blacks, Negros, African Americans, People of Color, and other Negative Bywords in the United States and around the world. The Transatlantic slavers operated similarly to the Hebrew captors as they employed the same three-part strategy but with a more ruthless and savage approach. The horrors inflicted in this dark period in human history cannot be overstated, and it is important for us to remember and learn from them to ensure that such atrocities never happen again.

Reeducated

Reeducation or reprogramming began immediately by eradicating the native languages of the enslaved. Upon being placed on the slave ships, the enslaved were deliberately split from their ethnic language groups and mixed with others who spoke different languages so as not to communicate with each other. Once the mixed groups arrived in America, the slavers sold the blacks to plantation owners. The plantation enslavers continued the language reeducation by forbidding native languages from being spoken and enforcing a cruel English-only law. If caught speaking a native language, severe punishment followed.

Cut off from their native languages, their linguistic heritage was essentially stolen and never returned. Consequently, the legacy of their languages swiftly became a distant memory, profoundly impacting the subsequent generations. By the third and fourth generations, there was nothing to hand down; the languages had been lost. The loss of these languages was a loss of identity, connection, and heritage. 

Although learning to speak English was essential, their oppressors forbade them from learning to read and write the language. This oppressive law led to significant struggles with literacy that persist even now. According to the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) report in 2019 and 2022, black 4th graders had the lowest reading levels of all groups in America, as depicted in the graph below. Why? Because through continued systemic oppression, black schools often receive insufficient funding and lack the resources necessary to provide their students with the education they deserve. Simply do a google search on “blacks can’t read” or “black reading levels in Chicago,” and the findings are disheartening, especially being that taxpayers fund a universal public school system in America. 

They were also taught

• Eurocentric Christianity as a religion with edited Bibles today known as the Slave Bible. A whited-out version of the religion filled with lies of a white Creator, white Jesus, white historical biblical people, and White angels. The whiting out process continues today with little to no thought about the actual truth.

• Mistrust and hatred of one another, as well as self-hatred. The Willie Lynch letter was never confirmed; still, it speaks to the character and philosophies of the times and the detriment of the enslaved black person.

• Black men could not protect their families, and Black women were sex objects. This was accomplished in many ways; however, buck-breaking and Rape were high on the list.
  • A large majority and possibly all of the DNA results of so-called black people have European blood, which tells the story of the amount of RAPE that took place.

• There are many more self-destructive behaviors that were learned during slavery, but too many to mention. If interested, you can continue by researching the destructive psychological oppression placed on the black race through slavery.

• Jim Crow laws, Cointelpro, and other government-inflicted oppression played a significant role in the continuation of reeducation after slavery.

Diet

Plantation slavers forced the enslaved to eat scraps and biblically filthy unclean animals like pigs, raccoons, and possums, of which none were a part of their diet. None of these animals were indigenous to the areas of Africa where the people originated. In fact, pigs weren’t even native to North America; earlier European settlers brought them over as their food source. If an enslaved person refused to eat, they were tortured to encourage eating or force-fed. The change in diet, coupled with other horrible eating habits, has wreaked havoc on so-called black people and continues to devastate them to this date. The increase in salts, saturated fats, and refined sugars has devastated the black community with record-high numbers of high blood pressure, heart attacks, strokes, colon cancer, sugar diabetes, and obesity.

Renamed

As we learned last week, the final and most life-altering of the three-part strategy was the forced name change of the Hebrews and Africans. So that we don’t repeat last week’s info, please go back to “part one” and read the renamed section. The enslaver and their wives brutally and viciously changed the enslaved people’s names, forcefully closing the casket on their previous lives and ending their connection to family ties, heritage, culture, and religion(s). They essentially committed mass genocide of multiple groups of people and turned them into something else, “Niggers“, which, unfortunately, some enslaved descendants still refer to themselves and others as today. The ones that resisted were subjected to buck breaking and/or flogging. The name change was also a constant reminder that they belonged to the enslaver who named them, and they were no different from livestock.

The Plantation owners saw the Hebrew and African names as a threat to their ownership and domination over them and, therefore, made it a point to strip them of their names. The act of renaming was a brutal practice that caused immense pain and trauma. Enslaved people abandon their generational family names and adopt foreign names that were associated with their oppressors. Names like Jack, Charles, Harry, Joe, Will, and Frank were for men, while women were given names like Mary, Jane, Betty, Sarah, Phillis, and Peg against their will. They were also given surnames like Williams, Jones, Johnson, Smith, Jackson, Thomas, Brown, Walker, Davis, Green, Robinson, Scott, Harris, Turner, and Anderson. Surnames could also change if a person was sold or given to another enslaver.

Lost Roots

As stated last week, the act of renaming was a brutal and heartless practice that caused immense pain and trauma. For this very reason, many, if not all, so-called black people of America can’t trace their families without hitting a roadblock at some point. I know that this is a hard pill to swallow for many, but this history is only a brief glimpse into some of the atrocities committed, there is much much more. 

Conclusion

Next week 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 willing, we will continue with part three and go further into this study with a focus on the Christian religion. I know Deuteronomy 28 is a lot to read; however, I have attached it here. Curses for Disobedience Caused this Slavery

Deuteronomy 28:15-68 (HRB)

15. And it shall be, if you will not heed the voice of your Elohim, to take heed to do all His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today, even all these curses shall come on you and overtake you:
16. You shall be cursed in the city, and you shall be cursed in the field.
17. Your basket and your kneading-trough shall be cursed.
18. The fruit of your body shall be cursed, and the fruit of your land, the offspring of your oxen, and the young ones of your sheep.
19. You shall be cursed when you come in, and you shall be cursed when you go out.
20. YAHWEH shall send cursing on you, trouble and rebuke in all that you set your hand, all which you will do, until you are destroyed, or until you quickly perish, because of the badness of your doings by which you have forsaken Me.
21. YAHWEH shall make the plague cling to you until He has consumed you from off the land where you are going, to possess it.

62. And you shall be left with few adult men, whereas you were as the stars of the heavens for multitude, because you would not obey the voice of YAHWEH your Elohim. °

They serve as a window through which others view us and the historical, cultural, faith, and family connections that define us. Our names have a deep and profound impact on our sense of self, purpose, and place in the world. They provide us with a sense of belonging in the communities we are a part of, and they help us understand the values that guide us. Our names are a reflection of our past, present, and future, and they hold a significant meaning in our lives. They lay out who we are, where we come from, where we should be going, and sometimes who we belong to (e.g., Eliyahu (Elijah), meaning “YAH is my El“).

Scientists Study the Power of a Person’s Name

According to a 2006 study(1), researchers study the brain activity of individuals to see their response to hearing their names. The participants were placed in an fMRI machine and repeatedly played four names, including their own, in random patterns. Upon hearing their names, a particular area in their brains known as the prefrontal cortex became activated.. This region of the brain is responsible for regulating our thoughts, emotions, and actions in an intelligent manner. In other words, hearing your name triggers your brain to respond as if you are engaging in cognitive activities, emotional reactions, or physical behaviors.

In fact, this reaction is so powerful that similar brain activities and reactions were seen in both coma(2) and persistent vegetative state (PVS)(3,4) patients. Coma patients are in a deep state of prolonged unconsciousness in which no amount of external stimuli can prompt the brain to become awake or alert. On the other hand, PVS patients are in a minimal or vegetative state of consciousness in which they have lost higher brain functions, self-awareness, and awareness of their environment. Regardless, both health conditions share similar illnesses, such as the inability to move, speak, or recognize others. Despite these illnesses, both group’s brains still involuntarily responded to the sound of their own name, which is a powerful response. (Research Study 1,2,3,4)

Our Names Do Matter

The power and importance of our names is undeniable. They serve as a conduit that activates functional and nonfunctioning brains and connects us to our culture, faith, and family. Our names are deeply rooted in the core of our identity and hold a significant place in shaping who we are. Therefore, it is crucial to acknowledge that OUR NAMES MATTER and are entwined with us.

So, what would happen if we were forced to adopt a new name through a brutal renaming process or brainwashing? To understand the potential effects, we will delve into the Bible, the Transatlantic Slave Trade, and religion. By examining these contexts, we can gain a deeper understanding of how the act of renaming can impact an individual’s sense of self and identity. Part 1, will cover some of the Biblical viewpoints.

In the first chapter of Daniel, we learn that Babel besieged Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) and 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH or YAHWEH) allowed the Yahshar’elites (Israelites) to be captured and taken into captivity. Upon reading this historical account, we can quickly discern King Nebukadnetser’s plan to manipulate and alter the minds, hearts, and souls of the Yahshar’elites. Daniel 1:4-7 reveals and outlines a three-part strategy inflicted upon the children of the Most High.

Three-Part Strategy Outlined in the Scripture Below

1. Reeducate them in the ways of the Chaldeans as well as writing and speech (Daniel 1:4)
2. Change their diets to foods that would defile them (Daniel 1:5)
3. Change their names (Daniel 1:6-7)

4. …teach them the writing and the language of the Chaldeans. 

5. And the king set to them the portion of a day in its day, from the king’s food, and the wine of his drinking, even to rear them three years, so that at their end they may stand before the king. 

6. And there were among them of the sons of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, 

7. to whom the chief of the eunuchs gave names. For he called Daniel, Belteshazzar; and Hananiah, Shadrach; and Mishael, Meshach; and Azariah, Abednego.

Three-Part Strategy Enacted (Reeducated, Diet, and Renamed)

There is much knowledge to unpack and understand from these three devastating oppressive cultural changes. Before we move forward, it is crucial to realize that the experiences and trials of the three Hebrew men and Daniel were not isolated but instead representative of what all the Yahshar’el captives were going through. The only difference between these men and the other captives was that they were possibly given resources and privileges with their enslavement and oppression.

Definition of Oppressive:

• Cruel, harsh, or tyrannical, unreasonably burdensome or severe, overwhelming or depressing to the spirit or senses

Definition of Oppression:

• Prolonged cruel or unjust treatment or control
• The state of being subject to unjust treatment or control
• Mental pressure or distress

Reeducated

The first thing the Babylonians forced on the men was reeducation. The Hebrews were pressed and forced for about 70 years to rid themselves of their Hebrew beliefs, traditions, laws, commandments, and language. The people were subjected to intense pressure, so much so that their language shifted from Hebrew to Aramaic. The oppression was so severe and mind-altering that it had a lasting effect on their language. This is evident as the Books of Daniel and Ezra were written in Aramaic. Additionally, the Aramaic language continued to be spoken and written after captivity and even during Yahshua’s time, about five hundred or more years later.

Diet

Secondly, the Hebrews were forced to change their diets. Food is more than just sustenance – like our names, it connects us to our heritage and history. For the Hebrews, food was also a way to connect with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and follow His commandments. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 laid out specific guidelines for what they could and could not eat, what was clean and what was unclean (Genesis 7:2, Leviticus 11, Deuteronomy 14:1-21). Fortunately, Daniel took a firm stand with conviction and loyalty to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and refused to defile himself. He negotiated with the chief eunuch and persuaded the eunuch and King Cyrus to allow him and the other Hebrews in the palace to follow a 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 approved diet (Daniel 1:8-21). It’s worth noting that this agreement only applied to Daniel and his companions, not the other Yahshar’elites in captivity.

Renamed

Lastly, and the most life-altering of the three, was the forced name change of the Hebrews. The power of names cannot be overstated, especially for people who have been enslaved and oppressed. For enslaved individuals, their names are often the only thing they have left that connects them to their heritage and sense of self. It symbolizes their identity and reminds them of their culture and everything that makes them who they are.

This act of renaming was a brutal practice that caused immense pain and trauma. It was a deliberate attempt to sever their connection to their past and strip them of their identity. It was also a way to weaken the slave’s spirit and to remind them of their inferior position in society. However, for many Hebrews, renaming goes further. Many of them had the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAH or ‘El or “Al) integrated into their name. Thus, indicating who they belonged to and who they were as a people. The Babylonians not only sought to give the Hebrews a new identity, but they also wanted to change their Elohim (Romans 1:25). View the name changes below of Daniel and the Hebrew men in the palace:

• Dani’el or Dani’al new identity was Belteshazzar or Ba’altesha’tstsar
  • Daniel means “The Elohim is my judge” (Elohim being 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄).
  • Ba’altesha’tstsar means “Bel protect the king.”
• KananYAH or ChananYAH new identity was Shadrak
  • ChananYAH means “YAH is Gracious.”
  • Shadrak means “command of Aku” Aku is a Babylonian moon god.
• Mish’al or Misha’el new identity was Meshach
  • Mishael means “who is like the Elohim” (Elohim being 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄).
  • Meshach “who is what Aku is” Aku is a Babylonian moon god.
• AzarYAH new identity was Abednego
  • AzarYAH means “YAH has Helped.”
  • Abednego means “servant of Nebo” Nebo is the Babylonian god of wisdom.

Occupation

As I studied the book of Daniel and contemplated this Food for Thought, the Book of Maccabees kept replaying in my mind. I couldn’t help but recall the unbearable oppression that King  Antiochus Epiphanes imposed on the Yahshar’elites. It dawned on me that the kings of Babylon and King Antiochus Epiphanes were driven by the same wicked ambition – to gradually erase the people’s sense of identity, connection with the creator 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, and the principles of His commandments. Take a moment and read 1 Maccabees 1:41-50 to see the parallel.

41. Then the king wrote to his whole kingdom that all should be one people,

42. and that each should give up his customs.

43. All the Gentiles accepted the command of the king. Many even from Israel gladly adopted his religion; they sacrificed to idols and profaned the sabbath.

44. And the king sent letters by messengers to Jerusalem and the cities of Judah; he directed them to follow customs strange to the land,

45. to forbid burnt offerings and sacrifices and drink offerings in the sanctuary, to profane sabbaths and feasts,

46. to defile the sanctuary and the priests,

47. to build altars and sacred precincts and shrines for idols, to sacrifice swine and unclean animals,

48. and to leave their sons uncircumcised. They were to make themselves abominable by everything unclean and profane,

49. so that they should forget the law and change all the ordinances.

50. “And whoever does not obey the command of the king shall die.”

The Almighty 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 YAH, in His infinite wisdom and knowledge (Isaiah 55:8–9, Isaiah 40:15,28), whom no man can begin to comprehend. He chose to include unique and meaningful names and genealogies throughout the Bible. For years, I found these portions of the Bible to be dull or boring and pondered over the relevance of these extensive genealogies. Consequently, I would often skip them altogether or merely skim through them. However, YAH began to show me the power of these genealogies and their purpose in understanding the scriptural narrative. Additionally, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 reminded me that it was Him who put these families together for a purpose, just like He put mine together.

The names and genealogies chronicled in the Bible are a treasure trove of valuable information. They provide a comprehensive record of the lineage of various groups of people, offering a glimpse into their history, culture, and traditions. These records provide a wealth of knowledge about the relationships between different individuals and families and their geographical origins. The detailed information contained in these genealogies should not be overlooked or taken for granted, as they can shed light on the complexities and nuances of human relationships throughout history. I sincerely hope that you, too, will come to understand the significance of these names and genealogies and gain a profound insight into the Word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄.

Here are a few of the genealogies: Genesis 4:1-2, 17-23, Genesis 5, 10, 11:10-29, 22:20-24, 25:1-26, 29:30–35; Genesis 30, Genesis 36, 46:8-26, and Matthew 1:1-25.

Definition of Genealogy:

1. An account of the descent of a person, family, or group from an ancestor or from older forms
2. Regular descent of a person, family, or group of organisms from a progenitor (see PROGENITOR sense 1) or older form: PEDIGREE
3. The study of family ancestral lines
4. An account of the origin and historical development of something

Genealogy and the Ha-Mashiach (Messiah)

As Bible Believing Believers (BBBs), we hold the conviction that Yahshua is the Ha-Mashiach because He fulfilled over 300 prophecies. The fulfillment of these prophecies is a core part of our faith. However, we also have genealogical proof of Yahshua’s bloodline recorded in the Bible. His lineage can be traced back to Adam, the first man, then to Seth, the son of Adam, and then to Abraham, the father of Isaac, and Jacob, the son of Isaac. Yahudah (Judah) is also in His lineage, and so is King David. Fulfilled prophecies combined with the genealogical record provide undeniable evidence that Yahshua is the Ha-Mashiach.

2 Timothy 3:16 couldn’t be more accurate as “all scripture is given by inspiration of YAH.” 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄’s hands are all over the scriptures in words, names, and meanings. His influence is brilliant, and He shows us through names and genealogies. Take a look at how the meaning of the names of Yahshua’s preflood lineage (Genesis 5) points to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄’s Genesis 3:15 promise of Yahshua (Salvation) to Eve:

 If you place these meanings together, you get, and I will put this in the past tense since Yahshua has already come.

Yahshua was an appointed mortal man, the purchaser of sin, the shining one of Elohim. He descended from heaven to Earth dedicated, trained, and disciplined. He was sent for the lost sheep of Yahshar’el (Matthew 15:24) and to fulfill the law, not to abolish it (Matthew 5:17-20). He was rich but became poor or made low for all (2 Corinthians 8:9). Rest in His name, Yahshua our Salvation.

Overlooking Names and Genealogies

Suppose you don’t look into these genealogies? You would be overlooking specific details and facts, which could cause false or incorrect interpretations and doctrines. Here are two examples: 1). Sarah being the sister of Abraham 2). Sons of Japheth

Sarah, Abraham, Issac, and Rebecca

Sarah is introduced in a few ways in the Bible:

1. As Abraham’s wife (Genesis 11:29)
2. As Terah‘s daughter-in-law (Genesis 11:31)
3. Abraham’s half-sister on his father’s side (Genesis 20:12)

So, who was Sarah to Teraḥ, a daughter, daughter-in-law, or both? Who was she to Abraham, a wife, sister, or close relative? Let’s look at the genealogies and customary terminology used from the marriage of Yitshaq (Isacc), Abraham’s son, and Ribqah (Rebecca), Bethual’s daughter.

Search for Issac’s Wife

Please Read Genesis 24 in Full for Context

In Genesis 24, Abraham is now old and desires his son Issac to have a wife. He makes his trusted servant swear to him that he will go and do this for him. The oath required him to go to Abraham’s country/kindred to get a wife for Issac and forbade him to take a wife from the daughters of the Canaanites (Genesis 24:1-4). 

Moving forward, we read that the servant has agreed to the oath and set out on his mission to find a wife for Issac. In Genesis 24:25-27, we see Rebecca identifying herself as the daughter of Bethuel and the granddaughter of Nahor, the brother of Abraham. (See the chart below) She does not mention Terah Abrahams’s father because he was dead, making Nahor the ‘Avot (patriarch) of the family at that time, which is why the area is called the City of Nahor. As the ‘Avot, Nahor was in possession of all the family’s wealth, sons, and daughters. The servants know this, and in verse 48, he addresses it as such by saying, “And I bowed and worshiped YAHWEH, and I blessed YAHWEH, Elohim of my master Abraham, who had guided me in the true way, to take for his son the daughter of the brother of my master.“

And I bowed and worshiped YAHWEH, and I blessed YAHWEH, Elohim of my master Abraham, who had guided me in the true way, to take for his son the daughter of the brother of my master.

Laban as the ‘Avot of the Family

Laban displays the power of an ‘Avot in Genesis 31:43 when he tells Jacob, “The daughters are my daughters and the sons my sons. And the flocks are my flocks; yea, all which you see, it is mine and my daughters’. What can I do to these today, or to their sons whom they have borne?” He was basically telling Jacob that his wives and sons belong to him.

Sarah’s Identity

Abraham and Sarah were not brother and sister; Terah was the “Avot of the family, and Abraham used that as a technicality to lie out of fear. He faced the same trial twice and failed twice (Genesis 12 and 20). Sarah might have been a granddaughter, niece, or something else. How many times have you sung the song “Father Abraham had many sons”? Are you truly one of them, meaning is your father Abraham? Are your brothers Ishmael son of Hagar, Isaac son of Sarah, or Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah sons of Keturah (Genesis 25)? No, but Abraham is known and revered as the great patriarch or ‘Avot.

Sons of Japheth

Genesis 10:2-5 lays out Noah’s son Japheth’s genealogy. There are two fascinating facts that you will only notice if you read and study through it. I will point them out for you and move on, as I don’t want to keep you any longer.

2. The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

3. And the sons of Gomer; Ashkenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah. 

4. And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim. 

5. By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

• Japheth had a son named Gomer; Gomer had a son named Ashkenaz. Ashkenaz should stand out to you as we currently see Ashkenazi Jews around the world claiming to be descendants of Shem. The Bible clearly says that they are Japhetic and not Semitic/Shemetic.
• The genealogy also provides the locations of the descendants of Japheth, which is the land of the Gentiles known as the Isles or Coastal lands, which is modern-day Europe (Genesis 10:5). The Coastland does not include the Semitic land of Yahsharel (Israel). Take a look at any Bible that has maps. Look at the travels of Paul the Apostle of the Gentiles (Romans 11:13), and you will see the locations as well.

Conclusion

When studying genealogies, it is essential to consider all the available biblical information and hold true to the understanding that scripture interprets scripture, as noted in Isaiah 28:10 and 2 Peter 1:20. The names and genealogy mentioned in the Bible play a significant role in identifying individuals and understanding certain customs, along with other relevant factors. However, it is crucial to cling only to the genealogies cited in the Bible and not add or remove anything from it. Paul cautioned Timothy in 1 Timothy 1:4 not to get caught up in “fables and endless genealogies.” Therefore, I recommend you rely solely on what the Bible specifically states and refrain from interpreting it based on personal preferences or biases.

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄’s Placing His Name

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH or YAHWEH), in extraordinary ways, includes His name in many things. What is most interesting is how He merged His name into words, places, and people that belong to Him. The first integrated word that might come to mind is HalleluYAH, but the integration of Hallelu and YAH is only the beginning of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄’s influence on language. The insertion of YAH, Ya, Ye, ah, el, al, and iah all point to the Creator. (Note: el and al point to Elohim or Alohim, not “G O D.” Additionally, the “iah” was used to hide the name YAH, like Jeremiah-YermeYAHU, Isaiah-YeshaYAHU, and Hezekiah-HezekYAH).

Words

The Hebrew word “Hallelu-YAH” meaning Praise 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH or YAHWEH), is a great example of YAH putting his name into a word. Some believe HalleluYAH to be a form of praising YAH and say it is the highest praise. Others believe it to be a command to literally “Praise YAH” for his blessings, faithfulness, compassion, grace, and mercy. The most powerful thing about HalleluYAH is that despite its pure Hebrew origins, the word is found in almost every language under the sun, and it has remained unchanged, meaning and all. The name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, through the way of praise, was not touched by the ineffable doctrine, thus preserving the name of the Most High. (Psalms 106:1, 111:1, 112:1, 113:1, 117:1, 135:1, 146:1,10, 147:1, 148,1 Revelations 19:1,3-4,6)

1. And after these things, I heard a great voice of a large multitude in Heaven, saying, HalleluYAH! The salvation and the glory and the honor and the power of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 our Elohim! 

3. And a second time they said, HalleluYAH! Also her smoke goes up forever and ever. 

4. And the twenty four elders, and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 sitting on the throne, saying, Amen! HalleluYAH!

People

𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 named the descendants of Avraham (Abraham), Yitzhak (Issac), and Ya’aqob (Jacob) Yahshar’el. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 placed His name upon these people, His people. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 promised Abraham in Genesis 22:17 that he would multiply his “descendants as the stars of the Heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore.” 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 tells Issac that the blessings of Abraham are on him and reminds him of the blessings in Genesis 26:1–5.

Genesis 28:13–14 tells Jacob’s encounter with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 in which he was promised the blessing of Abraham and Issac. Years later, Issac found himself alone and face to face with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 at Peni’El.

Genesis 32:22-32 tells the complete account of Jacob wrestling with YAH all night and declaring that he would not stop fighting until YAH blessed him. It was then that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 bestowed the full blessing of Abraham on Jacob by renaming him a nation, the nation of Yahshar’el (Israel), an integration of His name and his people. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 named His people, and the 12 tribes of Yahshar’el came from the 12 sons of Jacob. 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 fused His name into the name of his people. “Baruch HaShem 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄!”

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Places 

Jacob named two places, which were Beth’EL and Peni’El; both were significant places and are known today. Beth’EL, meaning “House of ELOHIM,” and Peni’El, meaning “I saw 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 face to face.” Upon Beth’el, Jacob vowed a vow to follow 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 if He protected him. Peni’El was named after the place Jacob fought with 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 until he blessed him. Both were an integration of YAH and a place.

And he called the name of that place, Beit-El (Bethel). And yet the name of the city was at first Luz.

Conclusion

Throughout the scriptures, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 has left many clues for us to follow and discover His name. These breadcrumbs can be seen in the names of people, places, and even in the language itself. YAH has embedded His name into many aspects of His creation. As His followers, we must always remember His name, praise His name, and give glory to His name. In last week’s Food for Thought, “Does the Name of the Most High Matter?” we went over how the ineffable doctrine attempted to hide 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (YAHUAH/YAHWEH), but as you can see 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 will never let His name be forgotten. So My people shall know My name thus in that day; for I Am He speaking. Behold Me! Isaiah 52:6

Our Heavenly Father blessed us with His perfect and sacred name and allowed us to record it as  𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and יהוה. His name holds immense power and significance and is worthy of remembrance and praise. However, over the centuries, His wonderful name was erased from multiple historical records and replaced with titles such as Adonai, Lord, and “G o d”. These titles, while they may be used to refer to 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 The Most High, are not qualified titles, definitely aren’t names, nor do they give our Father the praise and honor that He desires or deserves. On top of all of this, these titles have led people away from knowing and understanding the name of our Creator and are in direct violation of the third commandment: “You shall not take the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 your Elohim in vain.” This Food for Thought will be about 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, however the same was done to His son’s name יֵשׁוּעַ (Yahshua) as well.

13 And Moses said to the Elohim, Behold, I shall come to the sons of Yahshar’el and say to them, the Elohe of your fathers has sent me to you; and they will say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them? 

14 And Elohim said to Moses, EHYAH ASHER EHYAH (I AM THAT I AM); and He said, You shall say this to the sons of Yahshar’el, EHYAH (I AM) has sent me to you. 

15 And Elohim said to Moses again, You shall say this to the sons of Yahshar’el, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 or יהוה, the Elohe of your fathers, the Elohe of Abraham, the Elohe of Isaac, and the Elohe of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is how I should be remembered from generation to generation

Call Upon, Praise, and Glorify!

When reading the Bible, you will come across multiple scriptures that tell us to call upon, worship, and give glory to His name and how others praised and honored the Creator by using His Name. Scriptures such as Genesis 13:4, Deuteronomy 28:10, 1 Chronicles 16:29, Isaiah 12:4, Isaiah 42:8, Isaiah 52.6, Psalms 29:2, Psalms 5:11, Psalms 7:17, Psalms 8:1, Psalms 9:2, Psalms 20:7, Psalms 83:18, and Psalms 113:1-2, Psalms 115:1. One of my favorites scriptures about the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 was when Eliyahu in 1 Kings 18:24 told the prophets of Baal, “…call on the name of your elohim; and I will call on the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄; and it shall be, the Elohim who answers by fire, He is the Elohim…” Do you think Eliyahu called on Adonai, Lord, and “G O D” or do you think he called his Elohim by His name? If Abba YAH desires to be called upon, worshipped, and glorified by and with His name, how will you do this without knowing His name?

1 And afterward Moses and Aaron came in and said to Pharaoh, So says 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 or יהוה the Elohim of Yahshar’el, Send away My people, and they shall feast to Me in the wilderness.

History of How 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 Was Removed, Changed, and Ignored

The Yahudim (Jews) ceased to use the name 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 due to the ineffable name doctrine established during the time of Greek Hellenization of the Yahudim. Hellenization refers to the influence of Greek language, philosophy, and culture on non-Greeks. As Judaism and Christianity became universal religions through proselytizing in the Greco-Roman world, the ineffable doctrine began to grow roots and settle in. The common noun elohim was mistranslated as “G O D”, which is actually the false idol “gad” or “gawd” whom you will learn more about shortly. “G O D” was then used to replace and change 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. This mistranslation was done to falsely represent the universal sovereignty of Yahshar’el’s Elohim over all other gods as another instead of as 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. Inclusive, at the same time, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 was increasingly regarded as too sacred or holy to be spoken aloud. As a result, it was then replaced and articulated by the Hebrew word Adonai (Lord or Baal), which was transliterated as Kyrios (Lord) in the Septuagint, the Greek version of the Old Testament, then translated to Latin and then to English leaving us with Lord.

Please note that the 1560 Geneva Bible and 1611 KJV Bible did transliterate 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 to Iehouah or lehovah, which indicated that the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 was known. Also, the current KJV in Psalms 68:4 includes Jah and the NKJV includes Yah, indicating that the name is known.

The evolution of languages and culture among the Yahudim (Jews) and their adoption of Greek influences, which were full of paganism, was astounding but not new. Yahshar’el has a history of wanting to be like the other nations (1 Samuel 8:5,7,19-20). They also have a history of replacing 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 with Baal. Remember when Yahshar’el came out of Egypt? They knew 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 brought them out of slavery, but they built a golden calf (Egyptian bull god Apis or Canaanite fertility god Baal “Lord”) and said, “These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up from the land of Egypt.” (Exodus 32:4) Therefore, giving the glory to another el.

The Yahudim’s reasonings for the ineffable doctrine on the surface may have seemed honorable to them and maybe even reasonable to you. Still, they are unscriptural and, in fact, against scripture. They were and are attempts to improve on 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄’s already perfect Word and or hide the true name of the Most High. If 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 wanted His name substituted out, his glory shared or given to another, or for His name not to be used. Why would He give us His name at all, place it in the original text over 7,000 times, instruct us not to take His name in vain, and warn that He will not give his glory to another?

Taking the Name in Vain

You shall not take the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 your Elohim in vain; for 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 will not leave unpunished the one who takes His name in vain.

Though scripture says to follow 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 rather than man (Acts 5:29), we find that nearly 7,000 times, the most important name of all 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 was replaced and changed with another word that uninspired men have chosen. The ineffable doctrine has traversed through time and has directly taken the name of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 in vain. 

• The doctrine has changed and falsified the name 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. 
• The doctrine has made it seem foolish or not very intelligent for people to use the name 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. 
• The doctrine has attempted to bring the name 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 to nothingness and worthlessness by removing it from the mouth of His people.

So why do people continue with this doctrine today? The answer is simple. Through blind ignorance, it was passed down from generation to generation, partially due to the unknown tradition of the doctrine and partially because that’s what was and is in the majority of Bibles printed. 

This doctrine of Satan was created so that the name 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 would be lost and forgotten and so that he could receive the glory as “G O D”. Think about it, “G O D” was implanted throughout multiple cultures, and there is no way to determine who is being spoken of in a world with numerous religions and faiths that all use “G O D”. This is simply another tool Satan has created to usher in his one-world religion under one “G O D”, himself. When people, celebrities, and organizations like the Pope, Oprah, and The United States Government say there are many gods and many ways to “G O D”, this is also a part of that delusion.

If you consider yourself to be Yahshar’el or a Bible Believing Believer, I’m certain that some part of you believes that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 inspired all the scriptures in the Bible. Am I correct? Ok, If I am correct, then you must believe Deuteronomy 4:2 and Revelation 22:18-19. In these scriptures, our Creator explicitly tells us that we should not remove or change anything in His Word. Again, I repeat, “nearly 7,000 times”, the most important name of all, 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, was replaced and changed with another word (title or deity). 

Who inspired, deceived, or encouraged man to make these changes? Who motivated or permitted man to replace the Creator’s name with that of manufactured pagan deities? Who changed the truth into a lie, Satan himself! (Romans 1:25)

Yes, Yahshua most certainly did teach the name of his Father 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. This is the last piece of evidence that we need to complete this study. If Yahshua knew that we must know the Father and a part of us knowing the Father was to know His name 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄, then that settles the case. We are to know the Father’s name 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 and use it. Conclusion

Many Believers, through ignorance, are following the Ineffable name doctrine to a fault, while others know and choose to ignore the truth. I have three questions for you:

1. Do you believe that 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 would allow His name to be lost?
2. Do you believe that man has the right to Translate 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄’s name or His son’s name into other languages or match them with false idols?
3. Do you think it’s a coincidence that the name of the Most High is on the rise and on the lips of many today?
4. Have you ever wondered what HalleluYAH (hallel-u-YAH) meant?
   • It’s a Hebrew word, and it means Hallelu (Praise) YAH (YAHWEH or YAHUAH)
5. Why are the name’s of false deities and idols in the Bible more than 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄?

The Name of The Most High should have never been translated, transliterated, altered, or changed. It should have been taught all around the world the same way it was given. I have heard many say I’m not a Hebrew or a Jew, so why would I say YAHWEH or YAHUAH? 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 is not His Hebrew name, it is His Name. Just like David is not my English name, it is my name. Rest assured, you will not turn into a Hebrew or Yahshar’elite by saying 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. Have you turned into a Latin-speaking Roman by saying Jehovah which is a Latin word?

Think about this – When you were a baby or child, you knew your parents as Dad and Mom, as you grew older, you began to know your parents, and in knowing them, you learned their names. Let’s move on from milk to meat, from shallowness to a deeper understanding and relationship with the Father (1 Corinthians 3:1-2). I employ you to gain more knowledge and wisdom through studying and researching the Word of 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. Learn the ways of the faith and Elohim that you say you love.

Please do not gloss over Isaiah 65:11. Yahshar’el has done this before, replacing Him and His name 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 with “G O D”. And this is what 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 said he would do to them in Isaiah 65:12-15 

12 And I will number you to the sword; and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because I called and you did not answer. I spoke, and you did not hear; and you did the evil in My eyes; and you chose that in which I had no pleasure.

The Devils Idea(s)

The devil, known as the deceiver in Revelation 12:9 and the father of lies in John 8:44, along with his children, are skilled at implanting ideas in people’s minds. It is often through suggestions, subtle influence, mental manipulation, belief systems, and false religions that the devil and his children manipulate and influence the thoughts and beliefs of others. This means that they can skillfully plant ideas in your mind by nudging your thoughts in a particular direction, all with the intention of leading you astray from the truth and further away from YAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 or יהוה.

The ability to deceive and manipulate is a powerful tool, and it is something that Bible Believing Believers should be aware of when trying to discern what is true and what is not. To protect ourselves from the schemes of the devil and his followers, we must become true disciples of YAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄. This involves the discipline of studying the word of YAH 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 daily, praying to Him daily, worshiping Him in spirit and truth daily, and allowing the Ruach to lead everyday. By doing so, we become more vigilant and discerning, which helps us avoid falling prey to the devil and his followers, especially the “Tares“- those planted by the devil in the body of Yahshua, as mentioned in Matthew 13:24-43.

Polytheistic Deception

Definition of Polytheism:

• The belief in multiple deities, which are usually assembled into a pantheon of gods and goddesses, along with their own religious sects and rituals.The state of being whole and undivided

Definition of Monotheism:

• The belief that there is only one El, an all-supreme being that is universally referred to incorrectly as God (Gawd or modernized as Gad), see Strong’s Concordance number H1409).

The devil is responsible for drawing the world into the web of polytheistic deception, lulling many to sleep with this poison, causing them to serve and believe in his many-god, any-god, any god other than YAH יהוה theology. This very deception is how Satan will cause the inhabitants of the world to worship him under a one-world religion. It’s worth noting that the One World Religion Headquarters has already been constructed in Abu Dhabi and is supported by three of the world’s five major religions, namely Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. However, let’s not get ahead of ourselves and start from the beginning with the creator of Polytheism. It all started millenniums ago with Cush, the oldest son of Ham and grandson to Noah. So we will start there and then move on to Nimrod(1, 2, 3), Semiramis, and Tammuz, the creators of the mystery Religion(s) in Babylon” thousands of years ago.

The Beginning of Polytheism

Cush married Semiramis, and together, they had several children, but one of their most notable offspring was Nimrod, whose name means we will rebel. Nimrod was a skilled hunter and a mighty hero in the land before YAH יהוה (Genesis 10:8-12). He also was the same Nimrod who arrogantly and rebelliously built the Tower of Babilu, better known as Babel. Interestingly, Babilu means the gate of god, but it can also mean son of Bel. It is possible that Nimrod named the city after himself, as he was the son of Bel (Cush), which you will see in a moment.

Exaltation and Deification

Definition of Deification:

• to make a god of

According to some historical records and writings, Cush exalted and deified himself as the pagan god Baal, Bel, and sun god Ra (father god). Semiramis deified herself as Ashtoreth, the Queen of Heaven (mother god). Cush would later be disgraced, and his wife Semiramis left him and married her son Nimrod. Nimrod took on the role of Baal (father god), usurping his father, either in addition to or instead of. Nimrod was later killed by his Uncle Shem for lifting himself up as a god and leading people into false worship. In an effort to remain Queen and maintain power, Semiramis somehow becomes pregnant with Tammuz and convinces the kingdom that she conceived Tammuz divinely by Nimrod-Baal and Tammuz is Baal Reborn (son of god). These deities held significant importance in the ancient world and were worshipped by many.

Mentioned in Scripture

Although Semiramis is never mentioned in the Bible, her deified name, Ashtoreth, Asherah, and Queen of Heaven, are mentioned several times throughout scripture. Cush and Nimrod are not mentioned many times; however, just like Semiramis, their deified names, Baal and Bel, are mentioned a considerable amount. Tammuz, also known as Dumuzid, is mentioned in Ezekiel 8:14.

Satan’s Transition Throughout the Ages

Cush, Nimrod, Semiramis, and Tammuz, the Founders of Polytheism (FOP), were all under the influence of Satan and his idea that man could be like YAH. Remember, it was Satan who told Eve in Genesis 3:5 that she and Adam could be like the Most High. Satan also expressed that he wanted to exalt himself above YAH in Isaiah 14:12–16. The FOP’s game plan was near-sided as they did not see the long game that satan was playing. FOP exalted and deified themselves to be gods for the short term to exert and maintain power and control, to be worshiped, and to be remembered in history. Satan’s plan was and still is to deceive the entire world through every dispensation. Look at the charts below, and you will see how Satan has transitioned throughout time using FOP as well as changing his name throughout cultures.

It is important to note that false deities created by man and Satan often share similar storylines. This can make it difficult to distinguish between them and to know what is true. In reality, there is no truth in any of it. All worship of these deities and other idols is worship of Satan. For example, there are stories about Sammaramis, also known as Ishtar (pronounced “Easter”), who supposedly became pregnant from the sun god Baal’s sun rays and gave birth to Tammuz from an egg. Similarly, Mirtha was also said to have been born from an egg.

Additionally, both Tammuz and Mirtha are said to have been born on December 25, along with other pagan gods and goddesses like Nimrod (Tammuz’s father), Horus, Dionysus, Osiris, Attis, and the Roman Catholic Jesus (birth by the Roman Catholic Virgin Mary also known as the Queen of Heaven). These are all reimaginations of old pagan gods and goddesses. This is why YAH commanded the people of Yahsharel not to engage in idolatry and reminded them repeatedly that he never changes, unlike ever-changing false gods. This was true then and is still true today; we should not engage in idolatry, no matter how innocent it may seem or how long we may have kept an idolatrous tradition. We must worship in spirit and in truth only (John 4:24).

Satan’s Goal

Satan’s goal has always been to kill, steal, and destroy, and he will never change (John 10:10). Satan’s purpose with this deception and all of his deceptions is to get humanity to worship him by any means necessary, no matter the form. The polytheistic deception works well as it manipulates the human psyche by giving us the illusion of control through the liberty to worship whomever or whatever we choose. The idea of selecting a god that fits one’s needs is appealing to people as it also provides a sense of control over their religious practices.

Polytheism says there are multiple gods; select one that aligns with your personal beliefs or choose whichever god serves your specific needs. Unfortunately, people treat YAH the same way as if there is an El of the Old Testament and an El of the New Testament, and they need to pick one. One half chooses to follow the New Testament only and dismiss the Torah and Old Testament, calling it bondage when the truth is the New Testament quotes the Old Testament repeatedly. The other half only follows the Old Testament and misses out on Salvation through Yahshua. The polytheistic deception encourages people to choose a god based on their desires rather than seeking a deeper understanding of the Truth, and that truth is יהוה.

The Truth about Created Things

The actual truth is that there is only one EL, and His name is 𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄 (יהוה) (see scriptures at the bottom). Serving, worshiping, and obeying anything other than YAH is giving glory to Satan.

• Doctrine Example
  • The Romans created the polytheistic doctrine of the Trinity. Yes, it is polytheism, and Yes, it’s a created doctrine, as the Bible never mentions the Trinity. The doctrine is a fundamental belief of most Christians. Yet, many struggle to provide a clear and concise explanation if asked. The reason is because it is complex, confusing, and not biblical. Please remember that Rome was saturated with paganism, and through syncretism, new beliefs were created and added to Christianity. The truth is YAH יהוה is EL, and His only begotten son is Yahshua; they are not one physically; they are echad like a husband and wife are echad, not as one being, but one in agreement, action, and thought. Yahshua points out the separation between Him and His Father when He proclaims in Mark 10:18, “No one is good except One, YAH יהוה.” Yahshua also clarified this in Luke 22:42 when He talked to His Father (not Himself) and said, “not My will, but thine, be done.” Indicating that He has His own will and the Father has His own will. People, we do not serve an El with dissociative identity disorder with three different personalities or entities in one (god the Father, god the Son, and god the Holy Spirit as a godhead). Consider Revelation 3:1 and Revelation 4:5, which both say YAH has seven spirits. Also, consider Isaiah 11:2, which names those seven spirits. Does this mean that the godhead is enneadnity (a word I made up like they made trinity), nine in one (Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Spirit of wisdom, Spirit of understanding, Spirit of counsel, Spirit of power, Spirit of knowledge, and Spirit of the fear of the Lord)? Of course not. These are separate individual spirits. For example, you can read about the separate spirit of wisdom in Proverbs 8:22-31. It gives us the history of the spirit of wisdom before and during creation.
• Idol Example
  • “All three major religions worship paganism in some form through stone and wood. Christians have the wooden cross, Muslims have the (Kaaba or black stone) in Mecca, and Judaism bows daily to the stone wall (Wailing Wall) in Jerusalem, which is the remains of the Roman Fort Antonia.” (Don Esposito Study Note HRB – Deut 4:28) It is not enough to say, be careful not to idolize “the cross” when the simple truth is that it has no place at all in our worship of YAH יהוה. We were never told to make a cross, bow down to it, make jewelry, or sing songs about it. This is a very dangerous thing that Christianity has created.

Some of the Other Religions in the World.

• Hinduism – There are differing beliefs on the number of gods, with estimates ranging from six to thirty-three million and each god being unique. Some believe it’s 33 types of gods.
• Buddhists worship and show reverence to Buddha by offering fresh flowers, lights, and lamps or burning fragrant incense at shrines with images of the Buddha. Some followers maintain personal shrines at home for private worship, aspiring to emulate Buddha. Although they claim Buddha is not a god but an enlightened being who has achieved freedom from the cycle of life and death, they create Buddha idols and worship them. Therefore, Buddha is their god, as their devotion is directed towards him.
• New Age – Bows down to self, believing there is no one true way to pursue spirituality. These individuals choose to explore their spirituality without adhering to any specific set of beliefs or traditions. These people often follow their own intuition and inner guidance, seeking personal growth and self-discovery. On the other hand, there are those who hold a deep conviction that they are divine beings with complete control over their lives and destinies. They see themselves as sovereign entities, possessing an inherent power and wisdom transcending human limitations. (Proverbs 14:12)

Conclusion

Satan has created multiple roads that lead directly to him, but most of humanity is deceived, blinded, and unaware of it. Satan and his tares have changed the truth of Elohim into a lie. The great news is that you don’t have to be. Our Father has provided us with His Torah and Holy Scriptures for direction, His only begotten son for salvation, and His Ruach to guide us in our faith. We don’t have to be fooled by the devil and subjected to this world. However, if you spend all your time being entertained by this world and the things of it versus in the Word of YAH and things of YAH, you will be deceived and probably already are. I employ you to come out of (her, them, or the world) and be ye separate. (2 Corinthians 6:17, Romans 12:2, Revelation 18:4).

Exodus 16:20 serves as a powerful reminder of what can unfold in our lives when we fail the tests and trials YAHWEH sets before us, by blatantly disobeying. It is our nature to do what feels or gives us the most pleasure(s). The Bible reminds us that we are carnal-minded (Romans 7:14) and want to satisfy our fleshly desires instead of YAHWEH’s Torah. But, Exodus 16:20 reminds us that when we disobey YAHWEH’s voice, commands, principles, and statutes, there are consequences to our actions. Especially when we consciously and deliberately choose to persist in sinful behavior(s) without having a genuine desire to change our ways and seek forgiveness, essentially rejecting the opportunity for redemption and reconciliation.

Our sin(s) is loud, noisy, smelly, stinky, and deadly (Romans 8:6, Ezekiel 18:4). Yes, that accurately describes sin. In Exodus 16:20, Yahshar’el was given specific instructions from Moses (Moses received these instructions from YAH) to go out daily and pick up sufficient manna and quail for their households and to consume it in one day and not to leave any leftovers for tomorrow, unless it was the day before the Sabbath. Yahshar’el was disobedient to Moses, which means they disobeyed YAHWEH‘s command. I must add that this was a test (see Exodus 16:4, Psalm 66:10) that Yahshar’el failed miserably. YAHWEH wanted to see if His chosen people would walk into His Torah or not.

Examine Yourself

How many tests have you successfully passed? Give yourself a pat on the back if you are walking in YAHWEH‘s Torah and have passed many tests. Now, examine yourself, and be honest (Lamentations 3:40). How many tests have you failed? Why? What could you have done differently? What did you learn from your error(s)? If YAHWEH gives you a retest on that situation(s), will you pass it the second, third, or fourth time around?

And YAHWEH said to Moses, Behold, I AM will rain bread from the heavens for you. And the people shall go out and gather the matter of a day in its day, so that I may test them, whether they will walk in My Torah or not.

Asks Yourself

We need to ask these questions ourselves so we don’t repeat our disobedience to YAHWEH. And most importantly, we need to repent and make a 180-degree turn from our sin(s). It can be challenging for some to do the right thing and please YAHWEH instead of our flesh. The solution is straightforward. Read your Bible daily to renew your mind and to build up your faith and fear of YAHWEH. This is the first micro-step you can take to prepare yourself to pass any test(s) or trial that YAHWEH puts before you.

Present Yourself

The Scripture said: “study to present yourself approved to Elohim, a workman unashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth” (2 Timothy 2:15). Let focus on the first part of that verse, to “present yourself approved to Elohim.” It is imperative that we pass all test(s) that YAHWEH allows us to encounter because we must prove to YAHWEH that our hearts and minds are focused on pleasing Him only! That we are grounded in His words, that His words ordered our steps, and lead and control our hearts! Glory! YAHWEH wants to see in action(s) that our characteristics are identical to the Fruit of the Spirit and the Torah. When we can prove this to YAHWEH repeatedly, He then knows He can trust us to carry out bigger and better plans successfully that He has already prepared for us to do (Ephesians 2:10). Can I get an Amen? Glory, HalleluYAH!

Prepare Yourself

The prophet said, send me, and I will go (Isaiah 6:8). How can YAHWEH send us on a mission when we are all caught up in pleasing our fleshly desires and not His? How can YAHWEH expect us to carry out His plans accordingly when we can’t even listen and obey His Torah? The truth is that He can’t trust us and that we are unreliable and unstable in our hearts and minds. Therefore, YAHWEH can’t use us as the vessels as He preordained because we are straddling the fence. We are unsure if we want to serve YAHWEH, the Devil, or ourselves (1 Corinthians 10:21).

Today is a great day to repent and ask YAHWEH forgiveness for failing tests and trials.

Choose YAHWEH

Today is the time to choose that you and your household will serve and obey YAH. Or maybe you are saying, I didn’t fail any test(s), and that you are living a holy life, and YAHWEH is pleased with you. If this is the case for you, pray and ask YAHWEH to continue giving you the mental and spiritual strength to live by His Torah. The bottom line is that we all need to live a blameless life and strive daily to please YAHWEH and excel in every test or trial that He allows us to experience. Choose YAHWEH’s ways today and every day! Amen.

And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid, for Elohim has come in order to test you, and so that His fear may be on your faces, that you may not sin.

Definition of Jealous:

1. Intolerant of rivalry or unfaithfulness
2. Fiercely protective or vigilant of one’s rights or possessions
3. Feeling or showing suspicion of someone’s unfaithfulness in a relationship
4. Feeling or showing envy of someone or their achievements and advantages

There’s a considerable amount of misunderstanding surrounding YAWHEH’s statement about Himself, the creator of the Heavens and Earth, being a jealous El. The confusion occurs when people are fooled into thinking or believing that YAHWEH is jealous or envious of what they have and wishing He had it. However, this understanding needs to be changed as it is not accurate. YAHWEH’s jealousy does not resemble flawed human jealousy, which usually stems from a place of envy, greed, and covetousness. YAHWEH is the creator and owner of everything (Colossians 1:15-17) and is the one that provides “every good gift and every perfect gift” (James 1:17). As such, it would not be reasonable for Him to feel envy towards anything we might possess.

Oprah Winfrey’s Account of a Jealous El

Oprah Winfrey shared a story about a charismatic minister who preached about YAHWEH being omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, and jealous. She recounted how she sat listening to this great minister and couldn’t help but wonder to herself, ““God” is jealous of me?” Her thoughts left her unsettled, stating, “something about that didn’t feel right in my spirit.” Oprah began to explain that the words “The Lord thy “God” is a Jealous God” was her awakening that moved her to search for and explore something more than doctrine. 

Righteous Doctrine

I firmly believe that individuals must reject and walk away from manufactured doctrine and instead prioritize the teachings of the Bible (Colossians 2:8). It is imperative to follow only those doctrines that align with Scripture or, even better, allow the word of YAHWEH to guide your beliefs. The word of YAHWEH should dictate your doctrine instead of the doctrine dictating your beliefs. Man-made doctrines are often associated with cherry-picking Scriptures to detach them from the surrounding context to change their true meaning. Therefore, we must prioritize the whole truth of Scripture over any manufactured beliefs and truly embrace the wisdom and guidance the Bible provides (2 Timothy 3:16).

Oprah’s exploration for spiritual enlightenment outside of the doctrine she was currently in took a demonic turn that led her away from righteous doctrine. She continued her story and dropped a bombshell by quoting Eckhart Tolle, which indicated that she did not move away from doctrine but instead chose another man’s doctrine or philosophy. She moved away from the belief in YAHWEH and His son Yahshua and moved more to a belief in self and the multiple ways to “Heaven” ideology. Regrettably, her misunderstanding of Scripture and mischaracterizations of YAHWEH led her astray from the path of righteousness. Her new beliefs are a cause for concern as she is now leading many others down the same road, further distancing them from YAHWEH and Yahshua.

Even now, she and other celebrities like Steve Harvey continue to promote the false idea (doctrine) that there are multiple paths to “God” and eternal life through self-belief or any of the numerous religions in the world. A study by the Pew Research Center indicates that a shocking 58% of American Christians believe other religions can lead to eternal life. Contrary to that belief is the truth found in (John 14:6 and Acts 4:12), which proves that there is only one way to YAHWEH, and that is through His Son Yahshua. What Does: “I Am Yahweh Your Elohim, a Jealous El” Mean? 

With strange gods they moved Him (YAHWEH) to jealousy; and with idols they provoked Him to anger.

First, it is crucial to recognize and acknowledge that we belong to YAHWEH. He created us and placed us on His Earth as His possession. Unfortunately, Adam introduced sin and death to humanity, which created a separation between humanity and YAHWEH. Thankfully, as a demonstration of His love for us, YAHWEH sent His only begotten son (John 3:16), Yahshua, to pay for our sins and allow us to be reconciled with Him. Through Yahshua’s sacrifice, we can once again become the possessions of YAHWEH.

Jealous is defined as “intolerant of rivalry or unfaithfulness” and “fiercely protective or vigilant of one’s rights or possessions.” When this definition is applied to the word Jealous in the Scripture, and we accept that we are His possession, it allows us to understand more clearly the intentions of YAHWEH. I am YAHWEH, your Elohim, and I will not tolerate rivalry or unfaithfulness. I am fiercely protective and vigilant of YOU, my possession. Exodus 20:4-5 illustrates the righteous jealousy that YAHWEH has for us, His possession, not jealousy of us.

Furthermore, to fully understand the meaning of Exodus 20:4-5, it’s essential to read it in context. Exodus 20:4-5 gives the second commandment, specifically addressing the act of creating, worshiping, and serving idols. YAHWEH is concerned with His possession falling prey to idols. The Bible makes it clear that there is only one El, and no others exist (See Scriptures at the bottom). Additionally, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 reminds us that our bodies are the temple of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), and that we were redeemed with a great sacrifice. Therefore, it’s not appropriate to offer up this sacred temple to idols.

So says YAHWEH, the King of Israel, and His Redeemer, YAHWEH of Hosts: I am the First, and I am the Last; and there is no Elohim except Me.

Human Example of Righteous Jealousy

When a man and woman come together in a marriage, they become bonded to each other by the covenant agreement they made with each other. Any interference with this union can trigger righteous jealousy. For instance, if a man’s wife is pursued by another man and she responds positively, it will and should cause the husband to experience righteous jealousy as she is his partner and belongs to him. Similarly, suppose a child decides to spend more time with another family instead of their own. In that case, it can lead to a sense of righteous jealousy from the parents and possibly their siblings.

Why? Because your spouse and children belong to you. This is why YAHWEH repeatedly calls us His bride and His children in the Bible (See Scriptures at the bottom). We rightfully belong to Him for three reasons: 

1. He created and loved us
2. He purchased us with the blood of his Son Yahshua
3. Covenant agreement (we are His bride). 

Conclusion

We must stop playing the harlot with idols and return to YAHWEH.

A few months ago, a friend shared a head-scratching video with me asking for my thoughts on the topic. The video featured a charismatic preacher/pastor who irrationally claimed that men with facial hair or beards were prideful, not anointed, and not true believers. I found his statements and rant absurd, and honestly, it left me feeling quite puzzled and taken aback. It begs the question, if YAHWEH created us with facial hair, why would he condemn us to the Lake of Fire for having it? Nonetheless, what shocked me even more was the congregation’s cheering and enthusiastic support of the pastor’s interpretation of biblical Scripture, which he ironically didn’t even provide in the clip I saw.

Unfortunately, my knowledge of this preacher is limited; therefore, I cannot determine his true intentions from this one message. Consequently, that leaves a few options to categorize this preacher’s message. At best, he misunderstood and misinterpreted some Scriptures and would benefit from prayer and guidance from YAHWEH. YAHWEH can open our minds to understand the Scriptures (Luke 24:45). Alternatively, he may have genuine zeal to follow YAHWEH but have been misguided by the false doctrine he was taught, resulting in the prioritization of flawed false teachings over the word of YAHWEH. At worst, he is a false teacher working for the father of lies and needs stern rebuking. Since he is this passionate and wrong about beards, I am concerned about what else he is teaching and its accuracy. 

Here Are the Biblical Facts Related to This Topic:

• Beards were common, well-maintained, and not to be worn like the pagans.
  • Leviticus 19:27 and Leviticus 21:5

• Not having a beard was shameful for some.
  • 2 Samuel 10:3-5 —  Remain in Jericho until your beard grows

    • Ezekiel finished this final act of defilement by shaving his head and beard, which was a pagan ritual for the dead (Ezekiel 27:31, Isaiah 22:12) which the Torah forbade (Deuteronomy 14:1). This whole process was extremely humiliating and disqualifying from serving Elohim Leviticus 21:5 Isaiah 7:20 (Study note from HRB)

• The Bible does not say that Beards will keep you from eternal life with YAHWEH.

Caught Up By Their Words

In today’s world, there is a growing fascination with charismatic speakers, including biblical teachers, preachers, and pastors. Christians have become unable and unwilling to accept the true meaning of Biblical Scripture because the personality of Mr. or Mrs. Charismatic mesmerizes them with falsehoods. So much so that if their pastor teaches falsehoods and you show them the truth in the Scripture, they would rather their pastor’s version over the word of YAHWEH.

This fascination is not limited to faith speakers, as the charisma of business tycoons, social media influencers, motivational speakers, and politicians also mesmerized people. Many of us have witnessed this phenomenon of people mindlessly following what politicians say, accepting their every word without question or investigation. Even when someone presents evidence that the politician is lying, they still exhibit blind loyalty. We’ve also witnessed similar responses from individuals when social media influencers or business tycoons like Elon Musk make unfounded claims without supporting evidence. People alter their lives as a result, and sometimes, even the stock market fluctuates due to these claims.

Listening to the Voice of Yahshua Instead of Man

45 And because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me.

Christianity emphasizes the significance of having and maintaining a personal relationship with Yahshua and YAHWEH. However, numerous Christians fail to devote time to reading the love letters (Bible) YAHWEH gifted to humanity; some neglect to even talk to Him regularly through prayer. For these reasons, the voice of YAHWEH is unknown to them, and they are left relying on the words of these charismatic speakers.

Question?

How long do you expect a marriage or personal relationship to last if you neglect to understand your spouse’s wants, needs, and desires (studying and reading the Bible) and rarely talk to them (praying)?

Answer!

Not long, and I’m tempted to say that there is no marriage or personal relationship going on here! Maintaining a personal relationship, whether with a spouse or with Yahshua and YAHWEH, demands effort and regular communication. Neglecting your spouse’s wants, needs, and desires or failing to communicate regularly with them will lead to the dissolution of the relationship. The same applies to your relationship with Yahshua and YAHWEH. If you do not take the time to read and study His Word, to understand His wants, needs, and desires for you, and if you do not engage in prayer and conversation with Him, then a personal relationship cannot exist. If you believe otherwise, you are mistaken.

Your relationship with Yahshua and YAHWEH will be damaged and possibly end not because they didn’t want a personal relationship with you but because you were not interested in them. Instead, you were interested in charismatic preachers, pastors, and politicians and their words, rather than Yahshua and YAHWEH and their words. Remember, Yahweh said He would never leave us, but that doesn’t mean we wouldn’t leave and walk away from him. (Deuteronomy 31:8, Deuteronomy 31:6, Hebrews 13:5, Joshua 1:5, Joshua 1:9, Matthew 28:20, Genesis 28:15, Psalms 94:14)

Conclusion

It is extremely dangerous to become overly invested in the words and actions of individuals by getting caught up in their intoxicating theatrical performance and gold-dripped words rather than the actual word of YAHWEH. Listening to and accepting whatever these people say without checking it against scriptures, facts, or research is also dangerous. Evaluating information based on its source and evidence is essential, rather than blindly believing everything you hear. By having a personal relationship with Yahshua and YAHWEH, which includes reading and studying the Word and praying, we can know Him, His words, His voice, and His speech. This will enable us to reject charismatic individuals’ false teachings, doctrines, and lies. We will also be able to respectfully and intelligently share information with pastors, preachers, and fellow believers in hopes of shining a light on the truth.

As we navigate through life, we often face trials, challenges, and setbacks that we as believers overcome because of our relationship with YAHWEH (1 John 5:4). We were made overcomers through the love and grace of YAHWEH. However, being victorious over this world comes with the unexpected problem of acquiring enemies (haters). Formidable enemies, including the Devil Satan, observe our successes and actions with a sense of unease and trepidation, knowing full well the extent of our power in Yahshua. Therefore, it’s crucial to keep in mind that these enemies seek to hinder or impede our progress. At the same time, others go to great lengths to derail us by inflicting as much damage as possible, whether spiritually, psychologically, or physically. 

Why Your Enemies Attack

Our enemies attack us out of deep-seated fear and hatred of our strength, resilience, and connection to YAHWEH. Ephesians 6:12 tells us that “our conflict is not with flesh and blood, but with principalities, and with those in authority, and with the possessors of this dark world, and with the evil spirits that are beneath heaven.” Therefore, we must recognize that our human (flesh and blood) enemies are influenced and sometimes controlled by Satan, the possessor of this dark world, prompting them to launch attacks against us.

King Adoni-Zedek Watches Yahshar’el Victories and Plots

1. And it happened, when Adoni-Zedek king of Jerusalem heard that Joshua had captured Ai, and had destroyed it (as he had done to Jericho and to its king, so he had done to Ai and to her king) and that the ones living in Gibeon had made peace with Yahshar’el, and were in their midst,

2. they were greatly afraid because Gibeon was a great city, like one of the royal cities, and because it was greater than Ai, and all its men were mighty. 

3. And Adoni-Zedek king of Jerusalem sent to Hoham king of Hebron, and to Piram king of Jarmuth, and to Japhia king of Lachish, and to Debir king of Eglon, saying, 

4. Come up to me and help me. And we shall strike Gibeon, for it has made peace with Joshua, and with the sons of Yahshar’el.

Yahshar’el had successfully defeated two powerful nations, Jericho and Ai, one after another, and enslaved a third nation, Gibeon. As news of these triumphant victories quickly spread, King Adoni-Zedek, an enemy of Yahshar’el, became filled with fear and apprehension. However, instead of retreating or surrendering in peace like Gibeon, the king schemed and plotted to bring Yahshar’el down, much like Satan and other adversaries do. Despite his apparent fear, King Adoni-Zedek refused to back down in the face of his powerful foe, showing his unwavering determination as an enemy.

While it may seem logical to assume that instilling fear in one’s enemies will cause them to disperse and retreat, this is not always the case. In reality, those who oppose you (Satan and Enemies) tend to become more cunning and strategic when faced with fear. Rather than accepting defeat, they began plotting and scheming their next moves and conspiring against you, intending to launch their most aggressive attacks. Their ultimate goal may be to bring you down or even eliminate you completely.

What Are Your Enemies Fearful Of:

(Satan)

• Fearful that you are done with sin – James 4:7
• Fearful that you have fully committed to YAHWEH
• Fearful that you won’t turn back to him
• Fearful that you will read your Bible and learn the whole truth
• Fearful of your constant and consistent prayers
• Fearful that you will follow Yahshua no matter what till the end – Matthew 24:13

(People)

• Fearful that you are or will be better than them
• Fearful that you will get the available promotion
• Fearful and angry that you are improving and they aren’t
• Fearful that you will realize they are not your friend but a pretender (enemy)
• Fearful of the favor of YAHWEH upon your life

King Adoni-Zedek Plot Against Yahshar’el

King Adoni-Zedek devised a cunning scheme to assemble and mobilize the neighboring kingdoms and wage war against Yahshar’el. His plan succeeded as four other kings (listed in vs.5) were persuaded to join him in his mission. The coalition of kings decided to focus their aggression on Gibeon, Yahshar’el’s newly acquired territory where their temple workers lived, instead of attacking Yahshar’el directly.

This strategic move of launching indirect attacks is a tactic that Satan and your enemies often use to obstruct your progress. They attack from a distance or roundabout way, employing sly, deceitful, and covert methods to hinder your advancement, often without your knowledge. All the while secretly biding their time until their schemes appear to succeed, then the enemy strikes with full force and unleashes direct attacks.

Examples of These Attacks From Satan and Your Enemies:

• Spirit of procrastination
• Spirit of laziness
• Spirit of depression
• Spirit of loneliness

(People)

• Talking behind your back – (gossiping)
• Smile in your face while stabbing you in the back – (Two-Faced)
• Always talking negatively about you to others – (Defamation)
• Blocking your success by persuading others against you – (Defamation)
• Setting you up for failure – (Instigate)
• Intentional microaggression

There is good news in all of this. (Romans 8:31) “WHAT THEN SHALL WE SAY TO THESE THINGS? IF YAHWEH BE FOR US, WHO CAN BE AGAINST US?” 

Conclusion

Satan and your enemies fail to realize that your success was never of your own doing. It was because you were dependent on YAHWEH. Your future success is the same. Stay dependent on YAHWEH and watch Satan and all your enemies scatter and fail.

Increasing food prices, inflation, wars, rumors of wars, global food shortages, new pandemic fears, pending recessions, ridiculous gas prices, BRICS threatening the US dollar, US national debt at 32 trillion and climbing, and the list goes on and on when thinking about the world economy. For some time now, the US and the rest of the world have been in an artificial economic bubble propped up by the world’s central banks. In efforts to stave off the inevitable, the Federal Reserve and the other central banks of the world actively manipulate interest rates which in turn influences the stock market, consumer and business spending, inflation, recessions, and much more. Unfortunately, the bubble has begun to pop or has popped already, and the consequences are real and happening all around us and are likely to worsen. If any of this makes you mad, cringe, or worry, money might make your world go round.

So What Do We Do About It? — Do’s and Don’ts!

Don’ts

Don’t become enslaved by money, allowing the shackles of financial gain or the societal pressures surrounding it to control you. The unfortunate truth is that money or wealth is an Idol for many and has always been highly prized and a source for covetous. This idol worship of money has caused many individuals to engage in unethical and immoral practices in their pursuit of it. The Bible has a few examples of this behavior:

• Judas betrayed Yahshua for 30 pieces of silver – Matthew 26:14-16
• Joesph brother’s sold him for 20 pieces of silver – Gen 37:26-28
• Delilah betrays Samson for Thousands of silver coins  – Judges 16:5
• The rich man was not able to release his earthly riches for heavenly riches, including eternal life – Matthew 19:16-26 (Focus 21-22)

No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise and be against the other. You cannot serve YAHWEH and mammon (deceitful riches, MONEY, possessions, or whatever is trusted in).

The relentless pursuit of money often results in the forfeiture of critical aspects of our lives, including our Biblical beliefs (Sabbath), physical health, and meaningful relationships with loved ones. Blinded by money or the pursuit thereof, we fail to acknowledge that the sacrifices cannot be easily regained or replaced. Therefore, we must prioritize our values and maintain a healthy balance between our financial goals and the other critical aspects of our lives.

Don’t succumb to or allow negative emotions like fear, nervousness, anxiety, or doubt to control your actions. While it may be tempting to question ourselves and our beliefs, difficult situations ultimately reveal our true character and where we stand. By maintaining faith and trusting in YAHWEH and Yahshua, we can navigate the feelings and pressures of trying times gracefully and clearly.

Do’s

During this season of worldly uncertainty or any other time of financial difficulties, we need to:

1. Have Faith in YAHWEH: Deuteronomy 31:6 – “Be strong and brave. Do not fear them, or be afraid of them. For YAHWEH your Elohim is He who is going with you; He shall not fail you nor forsake you”.

2. Trust YAHWEH: Deuteronomy 8:17-18 – that you not say in your heart, My power and the might of my hand have made for me this wealth. But you shall remember YAHWEH your Elohim, for it is He who gives to you power to make wealth…

3. Depend on YAHWEH: Matthew 6:25-32 – Do not be anxious for your soul, what you eat and what you drink, nor for your body, what you put on. Is not life more than the food and the body than the clothing? 26 Observe the birds of the heaven, that they do not sow, nor do they reap, nor do they gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Do you not rather excel them? 27 But who of you by being anxious is able to add one cubit onto his stature? 28 And why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They do not labor nor do they spin, 29 but I say to you that not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed as one of these. 30 If YAHWEH so enrobes the grass of the field, which is today, and is thrown into a furnace tomorrow, will He not much rather you, little-faiths? 31 Then do not be anxious, saying, What may we eat? Or, what may we drink? Or, what may clothe us? 32 For after all these things the nations seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things.

I can do all things through Messiah; the One giving me strength.

Imagine This!

…YAHWEH is faithful, who will not allow you to be tested above what you are able. But with the trial, He will also make the way out, so that you may be able to bear it.

Definition of Solidify:

1. Make or become hard or solid.
2. Make stronger; reinforce.

Imagine you are a pipe undergoing a pressure test. The test involves filling you with water and colored dye, removing any air, and then pressurizing you to 1.5 times past your maximum threshold. An inspector closely monitors the sustained pressure for several hours. During the pressurization period, one of three outcomes is expected.

1. The pipe maintains integrity.
2. The pipe will lose some integrity, resulting in hairline cracks and holes that leak the dyed water.
3. The pipe loses all integrity and bursts.

Maintaining an unwavering trust in YAHWEH is what builds and solidifies your integrity. If your integrity is not founded on and integrated with trust in YAHWEH, the negative emotions of fear, anxiety, and doubt will overtake you. If these emotions go unchecked, the pressure will build up, ultimately leading to high stress levels, leaks, cracks, or a full eruption damaging your faith, life, and the lives around you. However, the comforting and reassuring message of 1 Corinthians 10:13 reminds us that YAHWEH is always faithful and never allows us to be tested beyond our capabilities. He provides a way out, like a pressure release valve on a pipe, enabling us to overcome any challenge and emerge victorious. 

Entrusting ourselves to YAHWEH means that we can confidently rely on His guidance and unyielding support as He allows the perfect amount of pressure to help us achieve the desired outcome. Therefore, it is vital to maintain our trust and faith in YAHWEH to ensure that we remain steadfast and overcome any obstacles that may come our way.

Conclusion!

It is crucial to remember that the ultimate authority over the entire world lies with YAHWEH, and everything functions according to His divine will. However, it is important to note that this does not mean He will take control of you or manipulate your choices and actions. You have the power to make your own decisions, and you must prioritize seeking the Kingdom of YAHWEH and living a righteous life, YAH will do the rest (Matthew 6:33-34). Throughout this “Wait a minute, What did you just say?” series, we have delved deeply into the immense power of the untamable death-dealing tongue. We have come to understand that while our words can be a source of comfort and truth, they can also be dangerously destructive. Therefore, we must acknowledge the great responsibility that comes with the words that proceed out of our mouths and take them seriously. 

As we conclude this series, today’s Food For Thought serves to emphasize the importance of surrendering to the Most High, YAHWEH, to gain mastery over this small yet mighty beast. By seeking guidance and wisdom from the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), He can work on our heart, the source of our words, so that we can use our words to uplift and inspire rather than harm, divide, and destroy.

Out of the Same Mouth

James 3:11-12 presents a thought-provoking question and answer. “Does the fountain out of the same hole send forth the sweet and the bitter?” He answers, “My brothers, a fig tree is not able to produce olives, or a vine, figs. So neither can a fountain produce both salt and sweet water.” Our tongue can be pleasant, cordial, and friendly, yet deceitful, twisted, and misleading due to its regrettable ability to speak both blessings and curses. We can speak blessings and speak of our faith and somehow end up cursing, gossiping, lying, and slandering all within the same conversation. Ya’aqov’s points out this very fact in James 3:9 and should serve as a reminder that contradictory words, whether they are blessings or curses, originate from the same source. However, James 3:10 makes it clear that this should not be the case. It is impossible for the same source to produce both sweet and bitter or blessings and curses. 

Let not any evil word go out from your mouth, but words that are good and useful for edification that it may impart a blessing to those who hear them.

Check the Source

We must check the source by which the fountain water flows, in this case, the heart from which our words flow (Matthew 12:34). If you are constantly guilty of tearing down or being harmful with your words, your source is contaminated. If that same tongue blesses, it’s a contradiction, and the source is still contaminated. The root of this problem lies within our hearts, and only by purifying our hearts can we prevent our tongue from causing harm. Hence, we must take responsibility for our tongue by surrendering the source, our heart, to YAHWEH and stop the damaging impact it’s causing.

How do we Surrender our Tongues Source? 

If a well becomes contaminated by harmful chemicals, disease-causing agents, or even the remains of a deceased animal. It is imperative to take prompt and decisive action to ensure the well is thoroughly cleaned and restored to its original state. The first step involves identifying and eliminating the source of the contamination, followed by removing all contaminated water from the well. Once this has been done, it is important to exercise patience as the well slowly replenishes itself naturally, eventually filling up to its normal water level. By following these steps, the water from the well will be safe and free from any harmful contaminants, ensuring the health and well-being of those who utilize it.

Our hearts can be cleaned just like the contaminated well. 

1. Surrender your life to YAHWEH. Invite YAHWEH in your heart and become born anew. Without this first step, it will be impossible to produce fruit that are acceptable to Him. Just like the fig tree can not produce olives, you will not be able to produce good fruit. Changing your name, appearance, joining groups, moving to a different community, or even getting a different job won’t change who you are if you haven’t been born again.

One writer put it this way in reference to changing the external vs. the internal:

• You can label a fig tree “Olive Tree,” and that will not make it an olive tree.
• You can trim a fig tree to look like an olive tree, and that will not make it an olive tree.
• You can treat a fig tree like an olive tree, and that will not make it an olive tree.
• You can surround a fig tree with many olive trees, and that will not make it an olive tree.
• You can transplant that fig tree to the Mount of Olives, and that will not make it an olive tree.

2. Surrender your heart and mind to YAHWEH daily by reading His Holy Scriptures.

3. Surrender and humble yourself daily in prayer.

4. Surrender your right to complain, murmur, and whine.

5. Surrender your pride and practice speaking words that encourage, inspire, comfort, enlighten, and motivate.

Conclusion

Our death-dealing tongue is deceitful, but it can only deal its cards straight from the source, the heart. Therefore, we must deal with the source and clean it up.

Definition of Tame:

1. Reduced from a state of native wildness, especially so as to be tractable and useful to humans: domesticated tame animals
2. Made docile and submissive: subdued

Definition of Train:

1. Teach (a person or animal) a particular skill or type of behavior through practice and instruction over a period of time.
2. To develop or form the habits, thoughts, or behavior of (a child or other person) by discipline and instruction: to train an unruly boy.
3. To make proficient by instruction and practice, as in some art, profession, or work: to train soldiers.
4. To give the discipline and instruction, drill, practice, etc., designed to impart proficiency or efficiency.

Taming & Training

As human beings, we possess an incredible ability to train and tame animals for various purposes, including hunting, protection, entertainment, etc. Our remarkable capacity to tame and train does not stop with animals, as we can train ourselves and other humans to accomplish impressive feats like completing iron-races, mastering a musical instrument, or any accomplishment found in a Guinness World Record book. However, it’s essential to recognize that we can also unconsciously train ourselves to develop detrimental habits that can become ingrained or give rise to unhealthy behavior. This highlights the importance of being mindful of our surrounding influences and evaluating our actions to determine their impact.

The Impossible

The human mind and body are incredible creations crafted by the hands of YAWHEH with unthinkable potential. Certain individuals have tapped into this potential, performing unimaginable things without training or preparation. In most cases reported, dire circumstances, such as extreme stress, desperation, or pressure, played a role in displaying extraordinary abilities that appear beyond human capability. The astounding stories of Angela Cavallo and William Jeracki listed below serve as prime examples of this potential, showcasing a fight-or-flight response and a remarkable capacity for self-sacrifice and self-preservation in times of crisis.

• Angela Cavallo’s incredible feat of strength was on full display when she saw her son’s life hanging in the balance. This middle-aged mom and grandmother summoned tremendous amounts of hysterical strength and lifted a 3,295 lbs 1964 Chevy Impala off of her son. This courageous act not only showcased an extraordinary, unhuman-like strength but also led to her son’s rescue, saving his life.
• William Jeracki, a 38-year-old physician assistant, went fishing to St. Mary’s Glacier in the mountains outside Denver. During the fishing trip, a boulder fell on him, breaking his leg and trapping him alone in the mountains. Jeracki says he tried for a long time to free himself, but it was ultimately useless, and a decision had to be made. Out of desperation, Jeracki decided to cut off his leg in self-preservation. He made a makeshift tourniquet to slow down his blood flow, and he amputated his left leg from the knee down using a pocket knife. Then, amazingly, he embarked on a courageous journey, crawling half a mile to reach his truck and then driving an additional half mile seeking assistance.

How Amazing are Humans?

As we reflect upon the incredible achievements of humanity, from the taming of wild beasts to completing grueling Iron-races and even a regular person picking up vehicles, it can be tempting to believe that we possess the capacity to accomplish anything we set our minds to. However, this belief could not be further from the truth. It’s a false belief in self and promotes viewing oneself as a god, which is idolatry. There’s a tiny component that exists within our anatomy that remains beyond our complete control and mastery – the tongue. Even the most self-disciplined individuals cannot entirely rein in this small muscle.

James 3:8 describes the tongue as an “unrestrainable evil, full of death-dealing poison.” It’s like a hazardous weapon or an uncontrollable wild venomous animal. Fortunately, there is an antidote or solution that can tame and remove the death dealer’s natural inclination toward wildness. The remedy can restrain and make the tongue obedient, submissive, and docile yet wise and advantageous. The cure is freely available to all, but it requires us to surrender everything we have (Matthew 16:24-26) in order to receive it. By submitting to YAHWEH, repenting, and accepting the salvation offered by Yahshua, we can receive the power of the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), which can and will control the tongue. However, submitting our will is the key.

If you notice that your tongue is constantly telling lies, cursing, spreading gossip, idly chattering, exaggerating everything, and launching harsh attacks of slander and defamation, you need a heart check. You need to seriously contemplate where YAHWEH and Yahshua fit into your life because your heart has confirmed to you by your constant word choice that it is indeed contaminated. We are not perfect, but as believers, we are required to examine ourselves. 2 Corinthians 13:5: “Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Or do you not yourselves realize that Yahshua Messiah is in you? If this is not true than you are rejected.“
