Meet The Author

Dana Edwards was born in Jamaica but grew up in Brooklyn, New York. Upon marrying her knight in shining armor, David Edwards at the age of 21, she relocated to the Hampton Roads area in Virginia. David and Dana have been blessed with four children, who are currently between the ages of thirteen and five years old. Dana is passionate about studying the Bible in-depth because she has learned the importance of knowing Yahweh's will for her life. She is laser-focused on hearing from Yahweh and delivering the unadulterated, uncompromising Word that He anoints on her tongue. Dana has the gift of prophecy and is ready and willing to share so everyone can govern themselves accordingly. She is the author of Journal Thy Journey: A Chronological Reading Plan For The Bible and the founder of journalthyjourney.com. Dana is excited about starting a movement to encourage, inspire, and influence the people of the world on the importance of developing a personal relationship with Elohim. This personal relationship is achieved by spending quality time in prayer, worship, and the Word (Bible). She firmly believes that a person's knowledge and wisdom are incomplete until one thoroughly studies the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. By establishing Journal Thy Journey, she hopes to reignite, re-establish, and re-introduce the Bible as the basic building block for living on Earth. She wants to bring Elohim's Word to the forefront of the nation. This movement will be a spiritual awakening to implore all to be a student of the Bible. Only when we make Elohim's Word central to our lives can we thoroughly understand His will for our lives and the world. Dana earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Old Dominion University and her Master of Business Administration from Strayer University.
